Friday Night Lights 2X4: Backfire (Patreon)

Eric is back! It was a little touch and go for a bit, and I'm not sure why you would fight to keep a job where no one wanted you (especially if they were paying you to not do it), but Eric is back where he should be. Finally. 3 episodes was too long. The show was feeling disjointed without him.

I'm thinking Jason is not going to have this surgery. I'm also thinking that, yes, Lyla is going to drive to Mexico to talk him out of it. I think this is a good step for Tim, though, even if Jason is pissed at him for it for a while. Also, I'm thinking that Eric will convince him to come back and coach under him. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part. But I think it's highly probable.

Buddy totally hired that guy to get back in Lyla's good graces, right? No matter the reason, I'm all for it. People fuck up. Non violent offenders who are doing time for drugs, should totally be able to expunge there record. And not after 10 years. Like when they get out. (I mean, in actuality, I don't think drug offenses should put you in jail at all unless you're endangering children, but that's besides the point). I'm kind of hoping this guy becomes a love interest for Lyla.

I really hope this is the end of the Tyra/Landry/Stalker situation, but the look we got from Landry's dad at the end there makes me think that isn't so. Sigh.

Um, why did we need a PSA for driving here? I kind of get it if it's driving under the influence or distracted on your phone or whatever. But this? I totally don't get it.
