Why didn't any of you warn me?!?

It serves you right that you all have to watch me crying for, like, 20 minutes without a tissue to be found. Lol.
That said, this episode was beautiful. As was this entire series. I'm heartbroken that it's over. I loved it so much.

I wanted to warn you so bad but I couldn’t spoil it! I’m so happy that despite the heartbreak you loved the series. It’s easily one of my favs. “I drink much more than I ought to drink because it brings me back you” Lilac Wine was the perfect song choice for this episode. Watching Dexter mourn and grieve and start to heal this episode is so important. The way he’s able to relive these memories of Emma and smile, he’s going to be okay and that is so nice to see.

And as much as I want to be upset, I'm glad no one told me. I have no idea what that song is. I'd never heard it before, but it was perfectly aligned with Dexter. Honestly, as upset as this episode was, it did end on a hopeful note, so I'm grateful for that. Are there any other shows like this? This was so good and I want to recapture this feeling!
