Ves was a member of the elite Blue Stripes special forces group. She was the only woman in the unit under Vernon Roche's command.  

As it is not difficult to guess, the only woman among single men lived oh how difficult, but in abundance of ahem love.🤭😏  

Ves was only 16 years old when she was captured by Elven guerrillas, destroying her native village along the way. She was left alive only because the commander of the Squirrels liked her.

Later, Roche's detachment dealt with this group of partisans. Ves got her freedom, but since she had nowhere to go, Vernon allowed her to stay with them. So she became a member of the elite Blue Stripes squad.  
Interesting fact. In the Witcher 2, if you chose the path of Roche, during the task of attempted murder, Ves will have to dress up and pretend to be a whore, but the plan will not work and she will be captured. And Geralt will have to save a failed whore..🤭
