Hey all. It's taken me quite awhile to come to this conclusion but I've arrived at it with some regret and optimism at the same time. I want to first apologize to you all for having such a ridiculously high backlog. With my life spiraling out of control in all aspects, the coronavirus has exacerbated this by a factor of at least 10. In addition to the normal load, I took on new business opportunities (the products I create), started tutoring, and signed contracts with a few companies.

Suffice to say, I bit off more than I could chew while being a little too ambitious. I don't regret the decisions I made jumping into the unknown but having the ever-growing pile of Patreon rewards owed has caused me to delay a lot of the projects and ideas I had going on -- that includes the major overhaul of my Patreon. I would like to ask you for forgiveness in dropping the rewards owed, converting that into fun projects I'd like to continue with in the future, and give you guys a bit of incentive for all that you've done for me.

This means, I would like to open up access to all past rewards for an even cheaper tier price. However, I'd like to restructure my tiers in a way that gives more rewards (higher resolution images, more variations, etc) the more you pledge. In addition, I want to start integrating regular stream times and/or process videos to those who are interested. As much as I've enjoyed delivering the very best of my work to you guys through rewards, I have to admit it took too much of a toll on me. I'm not the fastest artist, and it started becoming a major strain on my health. I don't want to give up on creating those highly-detailed paintings, but I want to also introduce to you guys a variety of other types of styles and whatnot.

Feel free to give me any feedback with what you'd like to see from my Patreon. As for now, I want to look forward with a clean slate and thank you for the support you've all given me thus far. It has literally kept me alive and I will forever be indebted to you all. Thank you for reading this, and let me know your thoughts in the comments <3.

Love,

Rennik

Your health is more important than anything else. Please don't feel bad about having to scale back or anything. We all know you work very hard and understand the wait. Like I told you at CEOtaku. As long as you're enjoying yourself, everything else will fall into place. People LOVE your work. Don't feel rushed. We'll love it regardless.

Thanks so much <3, I appreciate your kind words, and I also want to very much enjoy what I'm doing. I am full aware that you all enjoy my art the most when I have enjoyed it as well.

Hey man. Take care of your health. That comes first. The rewards are nice but they dont mean anything without an artist who is alive and healthy enough to actually make the content. Maybe sit down and make a sort of schedule if possible? Hope to see more in the future. We are our own worst enemies. I'm happy for you taking those opportunities that hopped your way though for sure! It's a lot to manage as one man

Take good care of yourself man, I always would think positive despite these hard times. Sol Badguy believes in you. Heck, Slayer even believes in you. Just believe in yourself. Don't forget about us Patrons tho. We'll always be here for ya. ❤️

You have a very forgiving group of patrons so you should do what you need to do to prioritize yourself and make sure this is something enjoyable and feasible. What I've learned from my many failures is to make sure that you're being more honest than optimistic with yourself when you make certain commitments. It's 1000x better to underpromise and over deliver than the other way around. You don't want to become known for not delivering on your promises, because your patrons may start to feel like you're taking advantage of them in the long run.

Hi there! Speaking for myself the most important is your health, not just physical, but mental as well. I believe this is the feeling of everyone here. I feel like the past rewards that you delayed are a big issue for you and a big part in your frustrations and possibly your art block, so why don't you try to renegotiate them with the patrons? Maybe deliver something they still don't have from you can make you feel better about it. Maybe older finished pieces they don't have or a pack of sketches, so you can close this chapter for good and make a fresh start! Is just an idea of what could help you. We all believe in you and support you, so if this thing bother you so much solve it should help a lot! Anyways, take care of yourself! ^^
