IMPORTANT - Potential Sound Problems With Future Readings! (Patreon)

Hey, guys!

So, there is a problem I have been noticing lately with my recordings. Namely... sometimes, the audio cuts out for my mic. It's as if my software just stops receiving audio for a second, and thus pauses the recording, and then resumes once it has sound back. The problem is that my software does not notify me when this happens. It doesn't seem to happen very frequently, but it is frequent enough to be problematic.

I don't know why this is happening, but I figured you all ought to know that this is a problem. Considering the isolated nature of these little skips, it is borderline impossible for me to find them in a time efficient and quality-assuring manner. I managed to find and effectively fix two of them in here, but there very well may be more.

If anyone in my audience knows anything about this issue, please let me know. If it helps for anyone who happens to be tech-savvy, I use am AudioTechnica2020 USB Microphone, and I record in the DAW called Reaper.
