NOTICE: Backing Off From Change: Queen of The Hive Double Down (Patreon)

Okay ladies and gents, I have something kind of important I need to talk about with all of you really quick.

First and foremost, if you will recall, a short time ago I announced that I would be doubling down on my reading of Change: Queen of The Hive in the hopes of finishing it off more quickly, including chapters on Thursdays and Fridays. I have since come to regret this decision, as it is leading very swiftly to feelings of burn out and stress instead of excitement and anticipation. Tackling the same story, no matter how good it is, without some variations in projects, can and WILL lead to burn out. The story is feeling more like a chore and less like a fun project.

But it is a long story, and I am basically halfway through already. As such, I don't plan on canceling my reading for any reason. I will, however, to prevent burnout, be re-allocating it to just the Monday and Tuesday slots. I have reached out to an author on FimFiction.net for permission to do a reading of their story. Until such a time as I get that permission, though, I will refrain from naming the story itself.

To help facilitate my easing off of Change to lessen my feelings of stress and burn-out, I will not be doing a reading today. I apologize for this inconvenience, and I know that less Change will be disappointing, but I do this because I enjoy doing it. If the fun of the work fades away, then trust me; it will show. The quality of my voice-work and narration will plummet and, by extension, the reading itself will suffer greatly. I hold myself to a standard of quality that I just would not be able to meet if this happens.

Tl;dr - Doing 4 chapters of Change each week proved too much for me. Reverting to the previous schedule to avoid burnout and quality drops. New reading hopefully inbound for Thursday and Friday's slot.
