Hey Fan! I would like to clarify a doubt with a question. When you say the enemy got a 2 punisher swing because they lost it and you won it, you mean that since it was contested they did not get something else in return right? This brings me back to the guide on trading resources, if you have a certain team composition which win condition is not to win the shrine you might as well just give it in exchange of something else right? For example, if they had given the shire but soaked all the lanes and even gotten a push against your structures in a far lane that would no longer be a 2 net punisher win but rather you won the punisher and they got like a wall and half a fort for example. And in the end what matters is the experience difference and structure damage difference. Does this make any sense? xD Also in the case they would give up the shrine to split push and get the value else where, it would be better to simply spend 1 or 2 heroes on it to kill the monkeys and take the other 3 to already be pushing on the pushing lane of the punisher (closest from their location, I guess it would be inefficient for them to go top to defend or delay their returning siege) ? Yeah that's a good question. I want to see the response. I think the general issue, as Fan has mentioned elsewhere, is people see the red dot on the mini map, or someone is in trouble, and they just flock to it. When really, a good game is about effective trades. If you aren't going to win the objective, then don't contest it. Get the trade elsewhere in soak, camps, lanes, etc... The problem is coordinating that is very hard, especially in storm league where people aren't coordinated and there perhaps isn't one person making the calls, and the 'trouble/red dot on mini map' syndrome.

Yep exactly right for everything you said. If they do not contest the shrine at all it would not be a 2 punisher swing it would only be a 1 punisher swing since they didnt invest anything into getting it.
