Recent news and misinformation about Capcom (Patreon)

Hi all, not sure if everyone keeps up with the latest news about Capcom, but there has been a recent wave of news and misinformation(intentional or not) regarding Capcom and their games.

As you may or may not have heard, Capcom has now started adding some extra protection(DRM) to their older games. Now I'm gonna keep this short and sweet but whatever it is you think of it, please make sure to consume information from reliable sources and veteran members of the Capcom game modding community. There's been a lot of incorrect information about how this new DRM is coming to the older games, preventing modding, injecting viruses, reducing game performance and some other wild wacky theories. This is 100% false. I felt compelled to make this post just as a reminder that you should never take what is said on the internet 100%, and always check the reliability of the information source before you make your own judgements regarding a situation.
