Changes to Commissioned mods - Cultured Supporter (Patreon)

Hi all, I thought I'd just give everyone a quick notice about a recent change I decided to make regarding commissioned mods and the Cultured Supporter tier.

Previously, how commissioned mods worked was similar to how regular mods worked. Commissions were paid for by a member, and after the commission was finished, it was time gated in the month that the mod was commissioned in for Cultured Supporter members. And when the month goes by, any new people would need to become a Thicc Connoisseur to gain access to the previous month's commission pieces.

For example, when the DMC5 Artoria was done in May 2024, anyone who was subscribed in May would only need to be in the Cultured Supporter tier to download it. Then July comes, new people wanting to get the Artoria mod, but they needed to be in the Thicc Connoisseur tier to do so since it is no longer May anymore.

Well I'm happy to tell you that from August 2024 onwards, this will no longer be the case anymore. Commissioned mods will no longer be time gated at a discount price and will remain at the 5 dollar tier permanently. As a result, all previous commissions from the past up to the present day will now be available to any Cultured Supporter.

Furthermore, some commissioned mods will in fact, be fully free (case by case basis). Of course all of the above applies only to public commissions and not private commissions.

Confusions about early access content

It would appear to me that some people were confused about how early access worked regarding my mods. So I will give a quick debriefing.

My mods go through a process known as 'Early access with time gated discount', what this means is exactly what it says. It is early access WIP mods with a time gated discount, the time gate being the present month the mod was released in. And once that time gate expires, the discount will no longer be active, meaning you will need to upgrade to a higher tier to get the WIP mod, hence this is where the discount part will expire.

Just keep in mind that the time gate is NOT for the mods themselves, it is for the discount tier (Cultured Supporter) of the WIP mods.

Confusions about exclusive content

Under absolutely no circumstances would I ever sell my mods individually piece by piece, I don't know why some people seem to think that I do, but I do not. Every single mod that you see is bundled in the entire month of subscription, and I'm not sure why anyone would think otherwise. This is also one of the reasons why I give out a Google Drive link containing each month's content rather than direct links of each individual mod.
