Hello everyone. A lot has happened recently, so I felt like I need to briefly relate some news to you guys about what's been going on my end. It pertains to commissions and backlog and my new process for getting that completed. I will be as to the point as I possibly can.

  • Current State Of Things: I've been dealing with a large amount of stress recently. With covid, bills, and a year of self-isolation wracking at my nerves, please know I am doing everything I can to get everyone's commissions to them as quickly as possible. It is a priority for me, and I am doing my best to manage the workload.
  • 20$ Doodle Tier: I've added a new 20$ Doodle Tier to my Terms of Service. I'm hoping to use the tier exclusively to help pay monthly expenses without the need to add more to my current backlog workload.
  • Terms Of Service Update: To help prevent even further backlog from accumulating, I have implemented a new policy in my Terms of Service. Payments for commissions I complete will not be required until after the project is finished.
  • Updated Trello Backlog Management Process: There are many different lists on my Trello. I've decided to categorize the backlog into five different sections. To keep things from getting more complicated. The sections are Ref, Sketch, Final Illustration, Flats, Colors. I will work from left to right. I will make sure that the projects I am doing are up to par with where I need them to complete them. The commissions will have a color next to their name, that relates to what column it will be considered finished in.
  • Canceling Special Offer On Tawna Bandicoot Gumroad Series: Earlier this year I launched my Gumroad store, with a special offer for my latest project series featuring Tawna Bandicoot from Crash 4. Looking at my current workload, I know I will not be able to keep up with the offer and promises I made in that announcement. The series will still be finished, but instead of incremental updates, I will finish the whole series, then put the project and its files on sale on Gumroad as a normal purchase. The Patreon perks still apply. I would like to make even more series/ projects, but I plan to just complete them and then have them available for purchase.

That's all I had to say. Hope everyone is having a safe thanksgiving.

That's a lot to wade through, I hope things improve rapidly for you! Have you considered adding some sort of doodle tier to your Patreon itself? I know a handful of artists who have done this and it's worked out wonderfully as consistent monthly income.

Yeah, your art is very good, simply announcing a tier with an art reward will definitely rake in plenty of takers, likely at any price honestly. I'm one of them, I came running when I somehow thought you had an art tier I could sub to lol Your art is well worth getting my money month after month!
