To Clear the Air (Patreon)

Hey everyone! So there were a few people who asked about the casting process of the 4th Episode of Adler Animates, and I want to clear the air on how this entire process worked! I obviously don't want people to be upset!

The 4th Tier of my Patreon is "Adler Actors" and they get first dibs on the parts before all the other tiers. Originally I had the post setup to only appear to Alder Actor's but decided to have it appear for everyone so that in the event of left over spots, people would have an idea of each role still.

We didn't have this issue with the last episode, as only 4 Adler Actors wanted parts in the episode, so the parts were then opened to everyone else.

After 24 hours I went in, and contacted all of the Adler Actor level patrons who commented and gave them their parts in order of who commented first. Then, I asked the ones who either were beat by other Adler Actors to spot if they were okay with a spot that was available, because I feel that since the Adler Actors pay for that level they should be first to pick a spot.

In the event that an Adler Actor who commented didn't want one of the left over spots, it would open up and move to the first person to ask for it from all other tiers.

I'll admit that that ended up being confusing for everyone, and for the next episode I will keep it a little more controlled by only having the Adler Actor Tier see the parts and be able to call out, then after a certain amount of time it would move on the the Adler Ally tier level and so on and so forth!

As Time goes on I'll find better ways to do this, (Maybe a Raffle that picks, or some sort of application process?) But for now I felt this was the best way. Also thank you for being so flexible with all of this, I've never run a production all by myself before like this, and their are bound to be a few bumps along the road.
