Behind The Scenes - Ch-ch-ch-changes (Patreon)

Hello there,

Here's a quick look at my chaotic creative process. I'm currently working on the second Tale Of Terror, 'The Unwelcome Guest'. In the comic, I'm visiting friends in their spooky old house.

i shot all the photos in one day, then half way through drawing I decided that I wanted to add a bouquet of flowers to the first few panels. Rather than reshoot the full poses, it was quicker to just photograph the elements I needed - in this case my arm holding something bouquet shaped, (cardboard tubes are very useful!) This also means that I don't have to sort out my hair and make up, or get fully dressed up - hence my scruffy appearance!

Then with a bit of careful trimming, I replaced the hand on my hip with the new arm photo, drew in the flowers and tweaked the background to accommodate the new pose. Hopefully, you can't see the join, so shhhhh... don't tell any one!
