A visit to the aquarium ends with a shocking twist!⚡️

This comic strip is adapted from Ernie Bushmiller's Fritzi Ritz. In the original, Fritzi and her boyfriend Phil steal a kiss in the darkness - I didn't want to be quite so scandalous!

I love the use of silhouettes in vintage comics - they add so much atmosphere and intrigue. I presume they were a time-saving technique used by artists with tight deadlines - in this case, it didn't save me any time at all! I still had to take photos, trim out the poses and then reduce the brightness.

I'm not complaining though, this was a fun strip to work on and I'll definitely be utilising more silhouettes in future strips - they're ideal for nude scenes!😉
