Extra Bits - Lego Gotham City (Patreon)

Hello there,

Please allow me to indulge myself with a slightly unusual post... If you've been following me for a while, you'll know I'm a big Batman fangirl. Back in April, I treated myself to this Batman Lego set. I recently completed it and it was an absolute delight to build. It's based on the 90's animated series and it's crammed full of little details and easter eggs. It's been such a joy to make that I just had to show it off - Totty-style :)

These are my favourite bits of the set, as shown above...

1. Beneath Wayne Manor, hidden behind a detachable panel is the Batcave - shaped like a bat and containing a tiny little removeable Batmobile!

2. On the other side of town you'll find Ace Chemicals and lurking within is the Joker, along with the large vat of toxic goo that transformed him into the Clown Prince of Crime🤡

3. At the side of the Gotham Opera House, there's a shadowy gap that looks suspiciously like Crime Alley. Bruce Wayne's parents - R.I.P🌹

4. The man himself, standing on a rooftop beneath an angry red sky - straight out of the animated title sequence🦇

I must stress that this post isn't sponsored by Lego or DC Comics, but if you're a Bat-fan like me, I highly recommend this set :) These photos were also fun to make, so I may visit more tiny Lego worlds in the future. I've got my eye on the new Jaws set...
