and the Tavern update
the Tavern itself and the Shield is a one creature, it is like a face that the Tavern show to visitors , also weapons and armor with that 5 eyes can be a shards of the Tavern.  Thus it can travel and see what is going on.

Sentient tavern is a very cool concept. The tiefling looks great and I love the mimic box.

I imagine the staff, either as actual people or manifestations the Tavern made, have those weapons or armor on them.

I can imagine the shield and the skulls having conversations and possibly even heckling the customers.

It's like the Tavern is fuckhuge mimic that likes pretending to be a building, and got addicted to the show. She's certainly a sight to keep all five eyes on!
