Patreon update! Subscription billing (Patreon)

Ever subscribe to a service where you get to renew/resubscribe on the date you joined? 

Unlike most subscription services, Patreon has an Auto-renew scheduled on the 1st of every month. So if you were to join Patreon late in the month, there would still be a renewal on 1st. For that reason it was recommended for patrons to subscribe early in the month.. 🤔

Today Patreon finally gave all creators the option

I can happily say I opted in for Subscription billing! You are now free to join whenever and still get a month of patreon to enjoy without having to worry about renewals on the 1st!

Small Q and A's

Is this for ALL of Patreon?

• This doesn't apply to ALL of patreon, only to creators (like me) who choose to opt in

I'm already a subscriber, do I have to make any changes?

• Nope, if you're scheduled for the 1st then you'll auto-renew on the 1st or whichever date you last got charged. This only affects newly joining patrons, specially the ones that join late on the month
