Wow what a turbulent time this month has been!
As many of you are probably aware, the latest Patreon version of WW breaks my mod pretty badly and likely the next LL version will too. This won't be a quick fix but more like the last patch. It requires a lot of rewrites, in fact almost every function I call from WW needs to be updated except a small handful. So if you are dying to play with my mod tonight, I strongly, strongly suggest holding off on updating WW until I release a hotpatch. Earliest ETA is set for a few hours but depending on things go it could be as late as tomorrow morning (I know very uncharacteristically late of me!) but I don't think it will be quite that late.
In any case, if you update WW then please disable my mod for the time being.
BUT OMFG GUYS
I've been freaking out about the news of mermaids since the leak was brought up on my discord. I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am for this patch and I can't wait to get the next hotpatch out after mermaids release so I can begin porting and developing new content for mermaids.
For the last few months, in my off hours, I've been working on a mermaid occult state [pictured above] because I LOVE mermaids and it's literally the last occult state I thought we'd get in The Sims 4. I'm not going to talk too much about my mermaids at this time because it's difficult to know how much will and should be ported over to the EA occult state but I've developed my own own mermaids quite far. Including giving them a unique anatomy to resist cold temperatures (allowing them to swim in freezing waters) from their body producing chemicals when it gets cold to keep them warm.... at the cost of making them a bit drunk every now and then. This is called Mermaid Intoxication Syndrome:
And ofc mermaid's blood have a different flavor to vampires depending on how 'ripe' they are:
Yes, I've always imagined vampires as wine snobs, when all you can nourish yourself off of is blood then how can you not develop super refined tastes for blood???
I also have a custom sex buff and all the other basics of being a mermaid (like tail transformation and hydration motive) which probably won't be needed to be ported because mermaids will already have these things.
I plan on supporting mermaids heavily and fully integrating them with WW, but my mod goals have not changed:
My mod will always support the base game and the public or patreon version of both Basemental Drugs and Wicked Whims!!!
So, if you choose not to take the deep dive with the mermaid expansion pack then don't worry, the mod will still work for you minus the fishy features.
I also want to thank you guys so much for your support! I realize things have been a bit content light as of late and I completely understand your frustrations. After patching things up for mermaids I plan on getting back on track with my releases. In the meantime, I hope you will happy to see how I've been using your support to develop my skills to new heights. All of this would not be possible without your support. I'd literally not have the time or the money to grow. In the past month I've spent about 1.5k on development tools alone Which will help me in making better textures and 3d models.
Some of the payoff is already in the mod. The glowing lips of the black widow sims (which is actually technically a mesh).
I've also started development of consensual BDSM themed gear such as the walking collar for caged birds (which was my first mesh I worked on, second completed after the lips mesh):

Additionally, I've been making test meshes to grow my skills:
Here's my first pair of panties (my test panties are on the granny size side because it makes it easier to cut up and modify the mesh into many smaller sized panties instead of starting from scratch, or combining with other meshes to make something like a bodysuit:

Speaking of tentacles, since the announcement a few days ago, I've been gearing up to make some custom parts for mermaids. This texture is wrong and the mesh is as simplistic as possible but I wanted to see if I could make webbed fingers possible. If the web mesh couldn't conform to the fingers, then there would be no point. Luckly, it conformed almost perfectyl as shown here:
I also think the mermaid tails aren't nearly as perverted as i'd like. This is just a proof of concept, but one night before going to sleep, I spent about 30 min imaging what a mermaid butt could look like. I think there is worth to investigating this idea further:
Again, that was made in 30 min, mega rough, would need way more care before releasing and I'll remake it once we see and understand how the tail meshes work in game.
Speaking of occult, don't you guys think for a second I have forgotten about Succubi, I've been practicing my horn game, here's a few examples:

Lastly, I've been working on integrating TURBO's new attraction features with parts of my mod such as caged birds and prostitutes to influence prices and be able to rank sims general attractiveness according to the beauty standards of your personal save game.
Including upping my nudity detection system to detect when the top and/or the bottom is nude/clothed or in underwear (irregardless of outfit being worn, so if you make a 'nude' everyday outfit it will still be detected) inorder to gear up for under clothing wearable items which would clip through the clothes normally if worn as a typical cas item. I hope to use this system for some pretty radical things, not only with consensual bdsm gear such as chastity belts but also with occult sims for certain body details. More on that at another time. The first way you will see this system integrated is via genital piercings, which I've been testing (untextured, not finished):

There are more WIP pictures on the discord of the inbetweens and examples of how I've been progressing my skills but I didn't want to overload this post with too many images.
Again, I want to thank you guys again so much for your support and even more so for your patience. I would have never dreamed I could learn these new skills let alone afford the expensive software but you guys have made it possible! Thank you!
Very last bit of news I'll share. Things have been a bit bumpy recently because it's been one mod breaking update after another. TURBO's attraction system (which is awesome btw), the WW update that was released today which breaks my patches for the last attraction patch + requires me to rewrite how I call WW functions, and the Mermaid patch coming up. However, I have it on good authority that mod breaking updating should start to slowdown a bit after the mermaid hotpatching is done which will go a long way towards giving me more time to finish what I'm currently working on and create new content.
