📝 Planning For July (Patreon)

Hi Patrons,

Hope all is well and I hope you're enjoying the off season. Yes, I have been taking a break, but you know what I'm like, a bit of an obsessive when it comes to planning, so I just wanted to give you all an update of what we've got planned before the season starts.

Our main content will resume on Monday July 4th with the launch of Planet FPL season 6 with episodes 1-5 throughout the week covering five specific areas (like everything in the plan these are subject to change), what's new, pricing, chip strategy, fixture planning and opening drafts.

The following week beginning on the 11th we're going to release what would look like a Patreon Podcast content week to the masses, showcasing what's behind the wall, which will include 'your' Q&A, Tot&Ham, a Quiz and the premiere of a new feature for Patrons next year called 'Money in Football'. You know, when Suj gets his brain on and I let him lead on the finances and he finds gold.

Suj is actually away again the week beginning the 18th (ridiculous, honestly!), I could crack a joke about not being able to get the staff… anyway, in his absence I'll be hosting 'Champions Week' where I'll be talking to a different guest each day, all of whom had very successful 21/22 Fantasy seasons. I can confirm my guests will be our own Advanced Tier Mini League Winner Cole Bonzer, our Correspondent Mini League champion Andy Martin, Planet FPL Mini league winner and 2nd overall Suvansh Singh, the 21/22 FPL Champion Jamie Pigott and another of our own, Dave Perrins will be joining me to discuss his Sky Fantasy season where he finished 2nd overall.

The following week is Correspondent Week, 7 days, 20 Podcasts, one on each club with debuts set for Gary Mantle and Mark Sutherns. It's our most demanding week of the year, everything after it feels quite easy!

Then we're into August and the home straight before the Friday the 5th deadline with s6 ep6 on the 1st, an FPL themed People's Poll on the 2nd, our Sky Fantasy season 4 launch on the 3rd, Ask James on the 4th and final Drafts on the 5th with the Deadline Stream at 530pm BST on our YouTube channel.

And of course there's more on Patreon, which will kick off with an Ask James Stream for all Patrons on Friday July 1st and there will also be a zoom call on the same day for Advanced Tiers (times to be confirmed).

Suj returns on the 4th for the Q&A and the following day Lauren Harris will be joining me to preview the Women's Euros which begin in England the next day, the first of several special Pods on Patreon in July.

The 11th to the 15th will be European week where we'll be focusing on five different stories across Europe for you. As promised we will cover AC Milan's return to the summit in Serie A, how PSG kept hold of Kylian Mbappe and I want to talk to you about Royale Union Saint-Gilloise. Never heard of them? Resist the urge to Google. Plus, what's next for football in Ukraine and we'll also have a closer look at the change in fortunes for Berlin's two clubs.

The following week (18th) it's Quiz week with Patrons guesting across four semi finals before the four winners return for the final to crown a Patreon Quiz Champion.

The penultimate week of our pre season content will feature a detailed Gaffr Preview for Championship Fantasy with Rob Pick and FPL Irons and we'll have a special Sky Fantasy Pod on the 'Guidelines for Transfers'.

The first week of August will include our selections for our Dead and Differential teams and The Differential Show will return on Deadline Day on the 5th.

For Advanced Tier Patrons video content will continue as usual with the plan throughout July to discuss anything we may miss or not discuss on the Pods that's in the news and relevant to the Premier League to keep you in the know as we head towards the big kick off.

Now that's said, we're off to The Cotswolds for the week. Me & the wife celebrated (we didn't celebrate, we winged about the heat!) 5 years of marriage yesterday and I now get 10 days of Harry uninterrupted. We're going to have a great time and I want to thank all of you again who contributed to the holiday fund. You insane people, you're all too kind and as promised we will use that money for the UK safari gig next March.
