Prior to this current Gameweek James was ranked 21st out of 6500 players in Gaffr Fantasy, a game for the EFL Championship. Here James explains how he has reached this rank and Suj goes in to the Podcast with no idea of how he has done it.

And it leads to a conversation about strategy, luck and overthinking not just for Gaffr but also for FPL.

The samething can be applied to stock day traders. Roughly 90% of day traders lose money but had they just keep it simple by buying an index and don't mess with it much they would be far better off. Not saying day tradering doesn't work because it's working for me and I use a very small percentage of my finances to do it (most of my money is long term invested). The point is the each individual thinks they know when something will start going in their favour when it's just best to just buy the darn thing and leave it without dancing about with the money in this stock and that stock until they end up with 0.

Looking forward to listening to this. I’m doing better in the UCL and Sky games with minimal management. Doing awful in FPL with active management
