2020/21 Patreon Mini Leagues (Update Sep 10th) (Patreon)

Hi Patrons,

I hope all is well, please see below all the information you need for the 2020/21 Patreon mini leagues

This article has been posted for Patrons on each tier, the only difference being the code that you see below is the code for your Patreon mini league. Please do not share these codes with anyone, if you see anyone on the Slack channel asking for a mini league code please ask them to get in touch with me.

Patron Mini League Basic Tier Code: xabc8t

For clarity the prizes for the mini leagues will be as follows: Advanced Tier 

1st = £350, a Planet #FPL goodie bag and an invite on to the Podcast 

2nd = £100 

3rd = £50 

Manager of each month = £50 

Intermediate Tier 

1st = £175 

2nd = £50 

3rd = £25 

Manager of each month = £25 

Basic Tier 

1st = £50 

Please note the following T&Cs (I hate these as much as I hate RMTs but these are worthwhile taking a moment to read through)

* To be eligible to win the 1st, 2nd or 3rd (League) prizes Patrons must be entered into their respective mini league before the FPL deadline for GW8. 

* Patrons are still allowed to enter mini leagues after GW8 but will only be eligible to win the Manager of the Month (MotM) prizes but will also need to be registered before the first FPL Deadline of each month.

* We are of course aware that some of you may want to change your Patreon Tier Level during the course of the season, should you wish to upgrade after GW8 we would request you to be part of two mini leagues. For example, if you are at the Intermediate Tier and wish to upgrade to the Advanced Tier after GW8 we would recommend Patrons remain in the Intermediate Tier League to have a chance of winning the League prizes 'only' and also join the Advanced Tier mini League to be eligible to win the Advanced Tier MotM 'only'. 

*Should a Patron wish to downgrade their Tier level after GW8 they will be removed from their former Tier level mini league. If downgrading from Advanced to Intermediate, Patrons may enter the Intermediate mini league to be eligible for the MotM awards but will not be eligible for the League prizes. If it is before GW8 Patrons will be eligible to win league prizes at the lower Tier. 

*If someone feels they are in a difficult financial position and is worried about being penalised please come and approach me privately, you have all shown support to us and we will show the same support to you, don't suffer in silence, we are here for you and will help. 

*For those who decide to leave Patreon before the end of the Premier League season you will not be eligible for the remaining League or MotM prizes. This also applies to the additional competitions we will be running (see below) 

We will also be running two additional prize offers that will be open to everyone at all Tiers of Patreon… 

For those who wish to enter our Patron Sky Fantasy Football Mini League we will welcome you to join our mini league & the prizes will be as follows: 

1st = £75 

2nd = £25

There are leagues open for £2, £5, £10 & £20 entry. We are restricting entry to 1 cash mini league entry per person. If you are interested in joining one DM me please and I will send you the code.

We will also be running a Champions League competition in FPL for all Patrons with the winner receiving a prize of £100 (only one person can win a Cup competition!) To enter you will have to register your FPL team into your respective Patron mini league for GW1. That's all you need to do. Only after GW1 can we be sure of how many entries we have and then I can work out a format for a competition that like the Champions League will start with (at least one, but likely two or three) Group Stages before a knockout stage. Those who entered the ChampManFPL competition will be familiar with the sort of format I have in mind and the idea is for this to run from GW2 all the way to the final in GW38.

Finally, I know there is some concern within the #FPLCommunity about cash mini leagues. Personally, I have no concerns at all and in any case, you all paid to support us on Patreon, you did not pay to just enter a mini league. If anyone gets funny about it you paid for Patreon, not a mini league. Fantasy Premier League are simply trying to distance themselves from people complaining about entering leagues and people running off with their money. 

Oh, and one final thing, Suj & I will be entering all of these leagues, I wouldn't worry about it, look at our histories! But we'll be playing to win!
