Edit: honestly if this goes well in February/March, I would love to open more slots to this tier too! ^w^

Hello everyone!! Announcement time!

Since taking on so many commissions/rewards at one time is starting to iron out my schedule, I've begun to run into some time management issues regarding my rewards process. I do NOT want to increase my rates and I don't want to take on or drop slots for those tiers...so I needed a better solution.

After bouncing around some ideas with friends, I decided to begin drawing/painting ONE background/scene for the icon tier characters to be drawn into for the icon. For example, every month I'll detail a different background/scenery for the Static Shock Tier patrons to be drawn into. Everyone will still get their own icon, but they'll all have the same background. (Hopefully that makes sense). The themes of the backgrounds have yet to be determined, so I'm open to suggestions on that front! They'll either be by my choice or patron-chosen methods.

The reasoning behind this decision is that my reward icons are sometimes taking me so long to detail that I get behind on my regular work schedule. >w< I think that by focusing on ONE background for patron icons rather than 4 I can begin to work in more slots for this tier. With that being said, the icons may begin to turn into more of a 'portrait' rather than an icon, but I guess it'll take me awhile to find out the groove of it and iron out the exact details.

I will likely put the 'theme' up for voting but I think most of the time it'll be some sort of scene or background. I really want to continue practicing rendering so I think this could be good to continue working towards that goal.

This change will not begin until February!

So if you're in this tier and are no longer interested in it, NO  WORRIES!! I will still always be open for regular icon commissions so you're not missing out on those custom backgrounds.

 As always, thank you <3
