For those that say the brush doesn't matter as much as the art, I come to challenge you with that. A crayola artist may still make amazing art, but you can't deny the prismacolor doesn't make your life a hell of a lost easier. The same goes for digital brushes too. Specific brushes can really help! Sure, skill is involved, but trust me when I say that brushes can make all the difference.

For the artists out there that have an adobe membership with photoshop...this post is for you (continue to read if you want to gain some knowledge)!

If you haven't heard of his name by now, you do now... KYLE T WEBSTER.

He is a fantastic artist and his brushes have changed digital painting on a scale that is almost unbelievable. Any artist, but especially those who work in visual development or digital illustration used his brushes. They were revolutionary when they came out.

Here's his website  http://www.kyletwebster.com/

(I met him in 2016, but I can't find the picture so boohoo for that. So here's some examples of his stuff instead.)

He used to just sell his brushes for any freelancer, but a little over a year and a half ago he got sponsored by adobe and now anyone who has a membership can use his brushes.

I don't work in Photoshop anymore outside of work, BUT you should be happy to know that photoshop brushes can be exported and opened in Procreate (& Adobe Fresco)! So what that means is that one of the greatest sources for brushes in digital media is available to YOU! I don't recommend going out and buying a full membership unless you want to be spending a chunk every month, but if you want to work as an illustrator in the professional world...you must know how to use photoshop. Adobe has deals where you can purchase a single-membership app, so I highly recommend that if this is up your alley.

If you're just a hobby artist that prefers procreate -- that's A-OK! I have plenty more brush tutorials and brush-related posts coming that may appeal to you more.

To download, open photoshop & select "get more brushes"

This will take you to the download link and from here you can get the Webster brushes. Once you download them on your computer you can airdrop to your ipad and import them into procreate!
