Happy Saturday everyone, I hope your weekend is going well so far and all of you find some time to relax :) Here's the art of our recent hell spawn- I mean, mosquito lol.

I wanted to take a second to give a welcome to some new patrons! Don't feel pressured to comment, but I wanted to give my thanks and a hello! We have fun conversations here so feel free to jump in as you see fit ^_^

As usual, feel free to post your song recommendations this week. It doesn't need to be a certain genre either- post whatever music you like. Mine this week is "Spirit- The Killers". I've always been a big fan of this band (yes, I'm one of those people that know Mr. Brightside and When You Were Young by heart) lol.

I love The Killers! Although I haven't heard much of their new stuff but it was a good sign when I started listening to the song that I didn't even realize it was new. It felt very much like the stuff I had listened too in my childhood. Other than their more popular songs, I also really like Human by them. My recommendation this week is very similar to last week lol. The song is "The Circle" or "Bedman?'s theme" from Guilty Gear Strive. This was also my most listened to song in 2023 since I recommended my 2022 song last week.

Mr. Brightside and When You Were Young, would always come on my Pandora back in the day and I'd always listen to them. I'm going to recommend one from a different band than my usual, Dead Inside by Muse.

Out of curiosity, I gave that song a listen as well. The only parts that didn't really speak to me were the calmer vocals, but other than that, it was cool! Video was interesting as well.

The name Muse didn't actually ring a bell, but then I listened to their most popular hit; Uprising - that's when I recalled hearing them. Dead Inside was quite interesting though. I love that gritty bass! I feel like you could throw in a different music video/image and I'll have a completely different take on the song.
