Happy Wednesday everyone- halfway to Friday! I hope you are all doing well. I'm feeling pretty good since I've finished all my audio recordings this week, all of which were very fun! This Friday's youtube video will be a story theme request by one of you! :D You all had some really cool ideas so I'm really looking forward to writing more of them in the weeks to come.

So this week I thought I would ask this: Coolest place you've visited or want to visit?

I would say the coolest place I've visited is New Orleans. I really enjoyed sightseeing and seeing all the cool stuff there. Naturally I had to stay in a "haunted" hotel :P As for where I'd like to visit someday- Japan of course!

I think the coolest place I’ve visited was the Grand Canyon. It was just so awe-inspiringly vast and I’ll never forget the feeling of seeing it the first time. Berlin was awesome too, absolutely beautiful city and the Christmas markets were just so fun and cute as hell. But my bias will always be for natural wonders so the Grand Canyon takes the cake for me. As for places I’d love to visit, the Acropolis of Athens is definitely top of my bucket list.

I've never left Europe before, but I really hope to do so before my 30s. Can't decide on the #1 coolest place, so I'll list a couple of honorable mentions... Rhandirmwyn, Wales - the first time I ever shot the Milky Way. Austria - the Alps are just some of Earth's most beautiful sights. And this really cool aviation museum in Germany 'Technik Museum Speyer'. As for places I want to visit; Iceland, any state in the US (feel free to drop recommendations for natural sight-seeing/camping/stargazing), the Atacama desert in Chile. And for a little more ambition; I would love a tour of Antarctica. I've never been to a polar region or a desert - I wish to see both in my life someday. I somewhat agree with the rest of you on Japan, but I have this fear of feeling severely out of place in a country like that. Like, everything about that country seems so harmonious and in and of itself. For that reason, it's admirable but also kinda of intimidating. Is that just me? XD

I'm sure the Grand Canyon is a beautiful sight to see for sure! I'd love to see it myself sometime. The pictures alone are breathtaking, I can only imagine what it's like in real life. I bet Athens is amazing too. It would be really cool to see old buildings and structures. Be sure to take lots of pictures when you visit! :D

Similar to your post I've never left America and I am for sure dedicated on doing that! I may be immortal, but I want to do so soon haha! I think all the places you've mentioned sound really cool. I'd love to visit Germany also since my Grandpa was from there. I don't think you're alone in feeling that way about visiting Japan! I've had some friends say similar things. Let's see...as for states in the US...I don't think you can go wrong sightseeing in California. There's all types of beautiful sights and I'm sure there's tons of places to go camping and stargazing :) Since I'm from the south though, I feel I have to recommend Virginia and the Carolinas.
