Hello Ali cats, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I’m hopeful that I’ll hear back from a job sometime this week but we’ll see. I don’t want to be too excited as there is a high chance it doesn’t work out xD Nonetheless, keep your fingers crossed for me!

Later this week I’ll be making a rather “slow” but spunky character- any guesses? If I get the art done early I’ll post a wip to see if you can guess then too :P

Question of the week is this: do you have any OCs (original characters) that you’ve made for stories or other purposes? If so, tell me about them! What was your inspiration, what they look like, etc.

Question of the week: I have a couple of characters but most of them have no name. (I have problems coming up with names) And I only draw the characters I don't really have any major goal or plan with them. I just like designing monsters. My characters: Name:Mimi Monster:Arachne Appearance:small,human-looking,short purple hair,green eyes,arms and legs spider-like,6 Spider leg on the back,2 fangs Kleidung/Accessoires:She wears frilly dresses, boots, striped tights, crown, hairpins and a brooch. Inspiration:Remilia Scarlet and the Gartenkreuzspinne (Garden cross spider) Mimi is my oldest character I created her 5-6 years ago. All the other characters I have are less than a year old. Mimi is my favorite character and my favorite to draw. I designed her for a game as a 3D-model to learn how to use Blender. But I didn't enjoy working with Blender and I stopped. Name:Hanna Monster:bug girl (centipede) Appearance:she is normal size (if you ignore the centipede under body), red-brown long hair, 2 antennas, blue eyes Kleidung/Accessoires:she is wearing a white shirt Inspiration:a yandere picture and centipede I always like to draw her sleeping, be lazy or upset that she can't sleep or be lazy. I plan to redesign and make her looks more like a centipede. Name:has no name yet Monster:sahagin (shark) Appearance:small,short hair, shark-teeth,shark-tail, shark-sins, big hands and feet with swimming pools Kleidung/Accessoires:wears no clothes Inspiration: my old tiger-shark plushie (that I no longer own ;o;) and Monster Girl Encyclopedia She is a fairly new character that I created. I first draw my characters with pencil on paper and only when I draw them on the PC do they get their colors. and I don't have time to draw at the moment. But maybe at the weekend she'll get her colors. Name:has no name yet Monster:bug girl (praying mantis) Appearance:big, human-looking, long white hair usually tied in a plait, red eyes, arms and legs bug-like, praying mantis arms under the human-looking arms, 2 antennas Kleidung/Accessoires:she is wearing knight's armour and carries a large two-handed axe Inspiration:Character Creation ASMR Roleplay by alichu art and praying mantis I wanted a companion for Mimi and Ali's story came at just the right moment :P. I have more characters but that is enough for now ^^ .

Apologies that this took me a bit to reply to Mi-kotin! I really enjoyed reading about your characters though, they all sound so cute ❤️ I especially like your idea of a praying mantis. I remember seeing your centipede and spider girl; did you ever have your pfp be the mantis? If not and you choose to draw her I’d love to see ^_^

Thanks Delta, I really appreciate that! I’m going to assume my first interview didn’t go that well haha! It’s ok though, I’m trying to stay positive and do better next time >:) RPG names count, especially if you’re role playing a character!
