Hey all so we are considering doing trading cards but it is costly and wanted to gather interest before we do. If we did trading cards, would you be interested?

Love you guys but I don't need more stuff

Anonymous

Maybe make them smaller releases?

Anonymous

I actually started making some a couple years ago for the shire wolves

For a full set of 100 I would pay $40 for. But individual Randomize packs would be too expensive to try and collect the whole set.

Anonymous

It would depend on how they were released, quality, etc, but I've got some spare pages and binders

Anonymous

I'd rather the expenses be put elsewhere. Im not interested in cards.

Anonymous

I guess depends on the cost and them, I'm interested but all depends.

I mean I'm a Den shill so... Anything Den I'll buy 😹🦁

I'm all in... I would buy a full set every few months or so if it were to happen. As a card collector who doesn't need anymore cards... I would buy every single one

I thought trading cards died lol. Maybe look at figures or replica belts. Something that can be displayed.

Just getting the Old Schmoedown app finally on Android will do for me.

Like the idea, if there’s some way it could be done digitally that would be good as I’m international so probably wouldn’t have them shipped across the world. What a sticker book or digital sticker book that you earn or buy random packs of stickers for that you then trade with other people ?

Absolutely! Please do this!

It's a fun idea, but I already spend enough money on Magic cards.

Another Wonderful Idea from SEN!

I think it depends on the price

I would love there to be trading cards however I know that I wouldn't personally buy them right now.

Do funko pops

Any way it could be done in a digital way I would love that

It would be a cool collectable thing and I'd definitely buy a deck, but I'd much rather see a Movie Trivia Schmoedown app where we can play the games ourselves 😊

If they were real cards to hold in my hand and had the player stats with mini bio then i would definitely buy some. Manager cards and cards celebrating historic matches or rivalries would be great also. Real cards can be put on a cube at work or hang a frame with the whole faction.

If there's a sure fire way to get a full set for each season

Anonymous

I would like them if I can just spend $30 for a whole collector set. As I can't imagine buying packs online. Plus they would be cool to bring to live events to get autographs.

WookbooK

I would love trading cards. And battle Pokémon style with them. But unfortunately I have no friends that like the Schmoedown. Netizens are my friends.

Cinema Guerrilla

maybe a card game like Skybound does but even then it's too much paper and so heavy to ship, is the cost really worth it

FooldiverDX

People I don't think they mean game trading cards. I think they mean like old school baseball cards, with pictures on the front and stats on the back.

Do it via kickstarter

Like the idea-- but not digital, if they are cards, then they need to be real-= like baseball cards; already collecting the 5x7 postcards being sent, but like the idea of smaller size. At certain tier of Patron you could replace the 5x7s with the trading cards!!

I am 100% down for the trading cards!!! I got my while family into the schmoedown, so this would be a perfect gift for Christmas and I would totally make a game out of it with them. Please make this happen!

physical cards would be dope for like live events and stuff, like if u had a limited edition Alex Damon Star Wars title match card from an event or something would be lit af

I would say you could safely do a first run in the 2500-5000 deck range. Offer a complete set that includes holographics for champs. Make sure there is a clear color scheme difference denoting the different fractions. Later on you can include exclusive cards with the purchase of VIP live event tickets. Once you start to build interest you can release "faction packs" or "division decks." I would also suggest including a special ability or talent on each card as well as favorite slices and numbers. Some people love stats and others want to build their own RPG trivia, appeal to both. Ultimately keep it exclusive and build slowly and it could be a really cool addition.

Only just seen this and I can't believe the majority screwed us. Recount!
