This third video starts with a battle for a title that is arguably the most hotly contested title ever in the history of the Schmoedown…the Inner Geekdom Title. The current champ and possible Rookie of the Year the Amazing Mara Knopic puts her title on the line against the architect of Anarchy himself Mike “KO” Kalinowski. Mara has been on an incredible run as she’s mowed down the cream of the crop of the Inner Geekdom division in short succession: Fyffe, Cushing, Inman, and Kalinowski. Kalinowski wants revenge for that 5 pointer he missed that still sticks in his craw and the title back. Get ready for this one, folks! And FINALLY, the Schmoedown Singles title is on the line here as The Outlaw John Rocha puts his freshly won title on the line against another possible Rookie of the Year candidate in Ethan “Big Time” Erwin. Ethan has been beating people left and right since he came into this league with nary a smirk on his face. Rocha fought his way back to the belt to join his fellow Horsemen, Murrell and Reilly, as two-time Singles champions. BUT this may be his biggest challenge yet. It’s Andre the Giant versus Hulk Hogan all over again and that one tore the house down. Will Rocha finally defend a belt and carry it into NYC? Or will Ethan continue his run and be the first rookie to ever win the Singles belt? Strap yourselves in for this one, Schmoedown fans!

Please don’t ever have Knopic back on the show. Ever. It’s pretty clear she doesn’t appreciate it the schmoedown or care much about it. I’d rather have one Clarke Wolfe, John Rocha, Ben Bateman or Mark Reilly that have a passion for the game than have 100 Mara Knopic’s that don’t care.

They all have characters. Hers has never been the character of those other people you named. I think she really cares because she said she put so much into preparation that it really affected her. So ban her after one of the craziest and hardest runs in the schmoedown and then to lose at a huge event in sudden death to a person a lot of people felt didn't deserve it. I'd be pretty upset too. I don't think it's ever been about the belt to her, it's been about the game and this was the first time she lost the game.

I don't discount Mara's real life health struggles, but that doesn't excuse her basic dismissal of everyone who is invested in this whole thing. I was very disappointed with her evaluation of the situation.

Yeah, i have to admit the interview with Mara and the impression that we got that they had to cut out even more definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. However she obviously cares to have prepared as much as she did and to continue to put herself out there. She just reacted like many of us have in our lives. She kicked over the monopoly board and said board games are dumb who even cares, i dont even know why i agreed to play monopoly and if you care about monopoly your not as smart as me. In the end we geeks are prone to such behavior which is why many of us did not pursue sports. The real test will be how she proceeds from here.

I feel like I watched a different video. She said one sentence that was cut together in post. She seems real bummed which is really understandable. And at the end of the day she's right, it's just a game and if it's truly messing with her mental health then she should definitely take a break and come back if or when she's ready.

There was some weird editing that I didn't get. The aforementioned Knopic interview but prior when KO was picking his numbers we definitely missed something there also.

My memory might be hazy but I do recall in Mara's 1 on 1 with Kristian she said she played a lot of competitive sports throughout her life. That's why I'm surprised she took that loss the way she did. It definitely wasn't a good look but I hope she comes back a better all around player which includes dealing with every aspect of the Schmoedown.

I'm going to give this Mara thing the benefit of the doubt for now. I thought Mara was pissed because Mike was taking so long with his answer reveals during sudden death. I think we really have to be missing something with that Mara interview. The editing did not paint her in a good light at all with it so brief.

Even though that IG ending/interview left a bad taste in the moment, I hope this isn't the last we see of Mara. She needs to take a leaf out of Rocha's book. Rocha said he owed a lot to the editors who cut out most of his blow up during that korruption match because it would've made him look really bad. However he eventually calms down, comes back and gives the most real, emotional and endearing interview ever. Slightly different situations I know, but at the core it's about dealing with everything that comes with the game. If she can get past this loss/moment, I think she can come back and be a beast in this league.

If Mara comes back, I hope she'll be allowed to cash in her rematch. Lamb Chop Kalinowski needs to be humiliated.

This is the Mara Knopic interview i saw ( after the cuts i assume). Paraphrasing somewhat 1. Jen: you must be upset Mara : Not Really *CUT* 2. Jen: Run solidifies your position as Rookie of the year Mara: i dont care about the titles i.e. ROTY and POTY. What do they really mean anyway? I am happy so many people care so much about the league, i put too much effort into this, affected my health, need to take a step back. *CUT* Mara: thats how i feel about this. Did the people annoyed by her interview get to see more than this? I mean, Were there post youtube-upload cuts as well? She was definitely pissed at Mike for taking long to answer in Sudden Death. From what I saw above, what she said seems fine though.

Mara definitely lost a fan here. An apology would definitely go a long way, but I was really disappointed with the whole thing.

Mike played the IG tournament and Anarchy. Was the central storyline all season. He had been working 2 seasons for that moment. He took a moment to let it sink in. She spoiled that moment. If she comes back, I hope it's not for a long time.

I hope she gets the championship back from Mike. He spoiled her big moment at the live event and pressured her into this match even though he didn’t deserve it. And he did it intentionally. She didn’t intentionally spoil his „big“ moment. Something was wrong with her that goes beyond the Schmoedown. I hope she gets better and wish her all the best. I love Mara Knopic she is my favorite player of the year. I love her and it hurt me very much to see her lose. She deserved the win. She had some of the most questions in the wheelround I have ever seen so it was bad luck. Plus she has some personal problem which impacted her performance. I hope she gets well. I realy don’t understand the hate. She really seemed shaken. And she isn’t used to the spotlight like others. I think we should show Mara our love and not hate on her. She’s a very shy person and that reflects in her character. She isn’t dismissive as some of you think. She is just hurt. I don’t know what problems or even illness she has in her personal live. But whatever it is she deserves our love and understanding not hate. For me she is still innergeekdom player of the year if not of all time. What she did no one has done befor. #loveformara

Thanks for transcribing. I think for 1. she was still in character. 2. showes it realy has impacted her health probably mental health as well. So she needs a break. Thats not dismissive. She is just protecting herself as she should when she has health issues. Dan wasn’t here for Rochas match so he probalbly took Mara home, which proves to me she was in realy bad shape. Whoever edited this video definitely fucked over Mara. I hope we get her full, unedited thoughts on this match at some point. It seemed like she thought Kalinowski was being an actual dick at the end of the match and I agree with her. Whatever writing goes on behind the scenes regarding Korruption and Kalinowski I think we all know he isn’t the top intergeekdom competitor. He just got written into this particular match and bested Mara on this particular day. In a more positive note I’m looking forward to Robert Meyer Burnett being involved again in the league! Always loved what he brought to the show, heel or not. Awesome Spectacular! Thanks to everyone involved!

Dude... Kalinowski is a super nice guy, he's just VERY good at acting like a heel, which is his job by the way. Respect all the players, otherwise you're going to see people leave the show because they don't want to deal with fans not understanding what a work is.
