Hi!

I'm updating my devlog again today.

Just a reminder that since one person offered to help me with publishing on different platforms, I've been focusing all my energies on developing the Final Exam game. To answer a frequent question: no, the help was not material. This person did not sponsor the development and did not pay me any money. He would simply help me with the placement and promotion of the finished game without asking for anything in return.

In the past week, I've hosted several streamings where I've been demonstrating the development process. I really hope these streamings will answer a lot of questions about the game development and image creation processes. Again, I apologize for not communicating during the streams. I have mentioned this in past posts. I have very little free time and socializing is very distracting. I try to spend all my free time on game development.

Now I'll briefly tell you what I've managed to do since my last devlog.

First, I made some images that appear on the screen when a player loses. So far 5 images have been made. They are, so far, selected in random order. All full-size images are available to paid subscribers on Patreon and Boosty. Try losing a few times to test the appearance of the cutscenes.

Second, I created a death animation for the player. As an addition, I made the player bounce slightly when taking damage.

The third thing I did was creating a checkpoint scene and placing a health regeneration item there.

In addition, two new images were created for the player's loss cutscene. These images have already been added to the working build.

The working build and full-size uncensored images are available for paid subscribers.
