Hi!

There are some upcoming innovations regarding my content creation. I've already talked about some upcoming innovations in my post about Size Difference World.

The Final Exam game is also going to have some innovations. To be more precise - a rollback to the old version. I will tell you more about it now.

Recently I was contacted by a person who is ready to help me publish Final Exam game on Steam. He was interested in the game, but asked me not to delay development too much. I explained to him that it would not be possible to make the game quickly, especially considering the transition from the IFAction engine to the Construct 2 engine. I don't know the new engine well yet, and I'm facing a lot of problems.

But my unexpected helper said it's no big deal that the game will be made on IFAction. Despite some issues, IFAction games are capable of running on most modern computers. Plus, before purchasing the original game, users will be able to download a free demo to see if the game can run on their computer.

I really like the IFAction engine! I like this engine almost as much as RPG Maker. But RPG Maker can't make platformers (actually it can, but it's really, really hard). I really like platformers, and it's the platformer that I want to make in the first place.

It is possible to make a platformer on the IFAction engine without knowing how to program at all. IFAction is like a constructor, where the game is built from ready-made components. Even in Construct 2 I have to do a lot of programming, and that's my main difficulty.

Once I decided to give up IFAction just because it has a lot of bugs and IFAction games may not run even on some modern computers. I was well aware that it would take much longer to develop a game on the new engine.

Due to the circumstances, I am ready to return to IFAction again, despite all its defects. Let the first game be released on this engine. And later, when I have more free time, I will definitely move to a more modern and less glitchy engine.
