Hey, everyone!

I hired an artist to make the cover of Hidden Class: Pacifist 3, Antioch. He told me that he'd send a rough draft, have my approval, and then he would send me the final product.

I was surprised when he just sent me the final product without having my input. Here is what he sent.

What do you guys think? Although I have an opinion, I don't want to influence you guys. What alterations would you suggest? Or is it just perfect the way it is?

I always envisioned Pax being a very large physically imposing guy. That guy isn’t so imposing

Agree 100%. I already responded to the artist, and this was one of my notes. That and the fact that in vol 3 he has the Black Toxicologist set, which is black.

I think the artstyle and composition is pretty nice, but the mountain doesn't really fit at all in what i imagine the place to be, but i'm still reading at the place where Roth leaves Hilsford. But i imagined Roths face to be a bit rugged, not a pretty boy like that. Also the sheep look more like wolfes, and their faces are weird in general. Also, take a closer look at Roths hands. Considering the detail the artist was able to put in the face, those hands are really crap, a skill difference that i don't think is really possible. All of which lead me to believe that this is AI generated. Not that i think that it per se is a bad thing, but here quality seems to have suffered from using it.

That's very insightful. Although I have no problem with stock photographs and illustrations I don't want AI art in covers.
