Meanwhile: Windthralls are the result of possession by a wind elemental. Wind elementals are flying lizards that normally stay in the upper atmosphere. Under some circumstances, they may slot their heads over a human/partirhuman victim and take control of their body. So it's possession and not transformation, but cute flying lizards!
