Future Carmen and Kelsie projects/ Comics ending? (Patreon)

Hey guys here's an additional update about future comics.

First of all, let me once again thank you for the great feedback and love you showed the pages and characters of the Carmen and Kelsie. You guys are always supportive and give great feedback, but it means a lot for OC stories when it'd be easy for this stuff to be overlooked in favor of fanart/rule34. 

So with that in mind, there is something I've wanted to do but I never officially ran it by you guys: I was strongly considering doing a remake of the older Carmen x Simon and Kelsie comics. With better art, more panels, more fleshing characters out, more Mari/Carmia/characters, more hardcore stuff on Kelsie's end, and just a more cohesive canon as I know there have been some incosistencies.

These remakes would run for four weeks like any other series on my Patreon, in addition to new comics. So a new schedule would include both the current storyline and the remake, amongst other series like Dicky Vicky. I mostly came to this decision because not only do you guys respond well to it, but I also have the most fun dealing with my own characters, outside of maybe the craziness of Dicky Vicky lol.

Fear not, The Incredibles will no doubt be returning for a new chapter (8 page batch) in January after Avatar. However it might be the conclusion of the comic, as the ladies are pregnant and its kinda at the climax already. Afterwards, a discussion, polls, and official new schedule would be in place.

Yay more Carmen. Hey man I say go for it. With Incredibles coming to an end, Carmen's story is the one I have the most investment in so if you focus more on that then I'll love it!

If you have an enthusiasm to remake the original, then I’d love to see it. I always prefer your OC comics (and the Freak Show comic) over any of your fanart comics.

As much as I’d love the idea of even more Carmen and Kelsie content, personally, I think redoing your older comics doesn’t make a ton of sense. Of course, your art has tremendously improved over the years, but it seems like it would be better to continue progressing with the story you’ve already got going on and cover new stuff rather then stopping to go back to redo your previous work.

Agreed, but the plan is not to stop the new comics. Basically both the new story and the remake would be on the schedule. But I do understand if people don't necessarily want a remake to take up an entire month of their pledge. But I will promise that it will be different enough from the original to justify it. I'm talking added backstories, new scenes, etc.

The idea of reimaging older comic is cool, giving characters more backstory and fleshing out there personality will make us like them more,also will remaking older comics only be for Carmen and Kelsie or for all comics? keep up keeping on, your hard work and passion to this community grow everyday once again thank you Jay.

I approve of this idea. It sounds fun to me and it could be fun to play around with some of the old scenes.

I'd love more with the OCs And yeah I think some stuff, specifically Increidbles is about due for wrapping up, not sure what else there is to do in that comic you know

I'd love a remake, especially if you think it'll enhance the story more! As well, I will never complain about continuity :P

I'm absolutely down for a remake. Yeah, the original is awesome, especially with some panels and shots of Carmen, but having more character work done will make it even better! Especially the inclusion of Mari, who is my favorite character. Carmen is a very close second though!

Personally, I'm biding my time for more Lilo and Stitch stuff/that crossover with Ben 10.

I'm would like it if you redid your old stuff. I like your OCs and there storylines. I've actually wanted more of them ever since I've found them so long ago.

I'm all for it, btw is there any Freak Show in the not too far future? That's my personal favorite comic of yours, it's so unique and interesting.

I would say continue moving forward, you have a good momentum going now. If you feel the need to remake a few things like certain pages, please do so... but do not get completely caught in remaking the whole thing.
