Characters and Designing (Patreon)

Some various leftover friend art I had on my to-do list for a bit + some character designing that's been on my mind.

For the new character designs, I was thinking that I wanted contrasting normal characters to the superpowered protagonists. I've been thinking for a while that a grounding force is necessary in some settings, and I feel it's an element I've been missing for a few of my characters for a while. Especially as I inch closer and closer towards solidifying their concepts enough to start writing down lengthier stories.

Designing Aoi came at the expense of redesigning Shizzy though lol. Shizzy's bright red sailor uniform just didn't work on a character that wasn't her, but I'm happy I realized I could maintain her sailor suit through her casual fashion.
