For the love of this show, PLEEEAAAASSE watch the movie first as a whole, and not in episodes. Then watch season 2 ep1 after. Then you can skip straight to S2 E8 because S2 E2-7 is pretty much the movie but in episodes. It spoils the hype. Watch in release order. Looking forward to your reactions. I'm so excited.

If that's the case, that's very unfortunate. There's a reason why movies and shows come out the way they are. Coz that's how it's meant to be watched. But oh well.

This is unlikely to be true actually. Production can take a colossal amount of twists and turns based on goals, setbacks, and largely public reception. The original concept for this arc was to solely make the movie to cover it, as the studio believed the arc was far too short to stretch in to an entire season. It is largely thanks to the massive success it saw during it's initial reception in Japan than we even saw the longer episodic form released. (Most anime only ever see the light of day, or renewal for additional seasons/movies based solely on the Japanese market.) The international success was just icing on the cake.

i cant tell you how excited i am for whats to come, two more seasons and a movie with the two of you, its super exciting and im really enjoying your reactions, you two are so wholesome. quickly climbing to becoming one of my top favs. keep up the fantastic work, you're doing great! edit: you love this show now? its continues to go up and up from here. been watching anime since i was a kid, grew up watching Naruto, start to finish. every week. all 720 of them XD and Demon Slayer is by far my favorite. You're in for a real treat.
