Just so you're aware, "The Reds" is what they used to call communists. It's a reference to the fact that countries with communist governments often had red flags (The Soviet Union, Communist China). It's cold war era propaganda, from the 1950s. In the Fallout universe, the cold war basically never ended, continuing from the 1950s all the way to the day the bombs dropped in 2077. You also asked what year it was, and at the beginning of the show it said 219 years had passed. That means it's the year 2296.

The actor who plays Cooper’s friend, that voices those robots, is an actor named Matt Berry. If you guys ever want to check out a hilarious comedic show, I highly recommend What We Do In The Shadows. He’s one of the main characters, a hilarious and sexy vampire named Laszlo. It’s a mockumentary style show about a group of ancient vampires living in modern day Staten Island. It’s so much fun!
