This is one of my favorite arcs in One Piece. So many mysteries to discover through pure adventure. So many good moments of the crew interacting as well. Plus the usual fun and jokes. There was a time when people would tell new watchers "oh just skip this arc, it doesn't matter" and I hated that people said that because it's so good (and it of course does matter). I'm glad that this sort of recommendation has stopped these days.

Japanese people can't pronounce the letter 'l' so we just get it with an 'r' in romaji and some subtitled versions. Of course, call him the way you prefer, that is up to you ^^♡

It's not that Japanese people can't pronounce the letter L, they can, they just don't have an L or an R sound in Japanese language. They have a sound which falls between L and R, which Occidentals tend to translate to an R sound because that's familiar to them (like seeing a face in a cloud). Occidentals have trouble pronouncing the Japanese sound as they mostly don't even hear it, hearing an R or an L instead. If the God's name was really Enel, it would still be written and pronounced in Japanese as, Eneru because the writing system is syllabic rather than what we would call alphabetic. The only "mistake" in pronunciation the two ladies are making is in adding stress to a non-stress inflective language. If you just listen to how it is pronounced in the show it should clear up any confusion you still have.

I always worry when there's so much comedy in a string of episodes. It's like playing a video game that suddenly starts giving you lots of ammunition and medkits. It's great and all, but you know there's trouble around the corner and it's gonna be bigger the more laughs and medkits they supply you with in advance lol

Wuhuuuu I'm caught up 🥳🥳🔥 Ok, quick fact check: the inscriptions Robin has read don't have to do with Poneglyphs - those are always huge distinct cubes of stone that stand alone, like the one you saw in Alabasta :) Oda placed great emphasis on the Skypea Arc, please pay special attention to it because it did foundational work for so much that is yet to come!! 😍🔥

I absolutely love how this show doesn't take itself too seriously, and yet still manages to have the absolute most serious and heart-wrenching moments in storytelling. The Zoro Tarzan yell was simultaneously predictable and unexpected 🤣
