E95 - Ace and Luffy! Hot Emotions and Brotherly Bonds!
E96 - Erumalu, the City of Green and the Kung Fu Dugongs!

Loved seeing Luffy and Ace together! We're so ready to find out what Crocodile is really up to. Can't wait for more! We will be skipping the filler episodes 98, 99, and 102. Episode 101 is listed as mixed filler so is the general consensus to watch that one or to skip? Thanks for your guidance and for watching with us! Until the next one.

The last scene in Episode 101 is canon and NEEEED to be seen :)

Minik

Oh im early for once

Anton Ny

Would you consider to watch "one pace" in the future? Its basically one piece if the pace increased and some episodes shortened to match the comic book pace. I'd suggest to do it after the next arc after Alabasta arc.

Prabhat Khanal

98-99 is fake reble army and 101-102 is bounty hunter. They are filler, yes. But they are very fun. I recommend to watch them.

CacoMetal

Hello Hayleechan! Carissasan!

Prabhat Khanal

Edit: Correction. 102 is filler and gives information which contradicts with the show cannon. When they wrote the episode, we didn't knew better but as the show progressed, we learnt the world better. And learn that information in 102 is absolutely wrong.

Jonathan Charles

Sooooo many feelings for these Ace episodes. Mostly happy.

jdawg11

looks like watching from 20:35 in ep 101 would make sense to me

tama

Please skip EP98, 99, 102. Those are fillers.

Bpet97

The ending of 101 is canon but only like the last 2 minutes or so

Every dugong was kung fu fighting!

meef

no dude. not that early, thats ridiculous

fr0st

As for fillers, there is one small canon bit in 101 involving Ace and Luffy which is important for much later but other than that, fine to skip.

Mike Drop

Please throw the end of 101 in as a freebie for the next reaction. It's good to skip the rest, needlessly drags on the start of the arc.

You only need to watch the last 5 minutes of ep 101, its a necessary scene, you'd be lost without it. As for 102, I personally love that ep because its so funny and adds good conversation between Zoro and Chopper that highlights the mindset the crew has going into this fight and their motivations. There’s also a scene that hints at something that will be important in future eps to come, but commenters will have to clarify it, in order to avoid confusion as you progress. Basically, what I'm trying to say is, even though 102 is a filler ep, its worth watching! If you guys are set on skipping 102, but have the time, you should watch this two minute clip from it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sPavyo6gnLU

akari

You should watch ep101. It includes an important scene between Luffy and Ace.

Mister Kap

Heyo, I suggested last vid to skip the opening song/title between episodes 116-131 due to spoilers. I wanted to expand on that, as after going to it myself, I realized the “skip intro” button doesn’t take you entirely out of the intro. So to actually avoid spoilers from that intro, you’d need to manually click into like 1:55 to go past the intro for that stretch of episodes.

Brandon

I started off on One Pace, but ran into several issues. One, not all episodes are edited for One Pace yet, so there are big gaps. And two, you miss all kinds of information that gets referenced later on. Yes, the pacing can get slow at times, but to me it wasn't worth it. I've enjoyed it more since switching back to the regular version.

klairvoyage

Already said this back then when you asked what filler to watch but, G-8 aside, 102 is another great one! 101 is mostly filler but has an important canon scene at the end, so I'd recommend to watch (last 90 seconds of) 101, 102 & 103 in one video after 97&100

Omil Arts

102 is filler but has much needed character bonding, plus it’s stupidly funny I’d highly recommend, aside from the last scene of 101 which most have already suggested

One Pace shouldn't even be a consideration for at least another couple hundred episodes, and even then I wouldn't recommend it for a reaction channel. I would recommend it for the average viewer, though.

Hans Wurst

I actually like the Alabaster filler episodes. They're funny, great crew interactions, more Ace, flesh out Alabaster more.... I didn't notice them to be filler episodes the first time I watched OP.

LoneCourier21

I would watch the Mixed Filler episodes no matter the proportions. It still helps keep the flow going. Have fun girls!

Ryan Searle

Need to watch the last 5 minutes of 101 but I definitely watch 102 just because of the amount hilarity in it.

Tomas

Theres a key flaw in the episode structure that comes into production later on that is essentially what helped will One Pace into existence, and that is when I'd suggest it. Though for a reaction channel it's difficult to suggest cutting your total content. Thing is for that reason One Pace reactors are rare. I don't see much of a use of it at this point, they're still very smart with design and behind the manga enough to plan things out. The anime might make a critical mistake with the lore once or twice, and it's nice that those are removed in One Pace, but I actually use EP119 as an example of anime pacing in combination of animation quality. Later though I think it's an objective fact the show values the audience that returns to the new weekly episode and deeply neglects the binger catching up.

WhoompWhoomp

Ace is my favorite character in One Piece, and Eiichiro Oda created a side manga about his past. If you're interested, be sure to check it out. It's only around two or three chapters long. But don't read it now, wait until you reach the Marineford saga. Save this link for after you finish Marinford: https://mangatoto.net/title/152283

Beefz

I would say watch 101, as it does have canon moments that actually does matter in the long run.

Kitsune Inferno

Offering this info retroactively now that Dance Powder has been explained but episode 93 (the episode where Luffy met the guy with dance powder and ate it) was 90% filler. In the manga we didn't know about Dance Powder until Nami's explanation. However, that's an example of generally good filler because it's fleshing out the worldbuilding in a way that isn't contradictory and it's funny. None of 98-99 and 101-102 (minus 101's one canon scene) are both like 93 was. Also an early warning that some people will say that some of 131-143 are worth watching. I personally do not agree. 131 maaaaaybe but it has contradictory information like 102 does.

Kitsune Inferno

I think One Pace is a bad idea regardless. I'm not sure what the legality is of streaming it, but even at the show's worse, the OG anime is still watchable. Especially if you're smart about skipping recaps, many episodes in the middle stretches are only actually about 11-12 minutes long if you remove the recaps and openings.

draeonic 🪼

Luffy befriending every animal he doesn't eat gives me life

Adam Aucoin

literally just the last scene in ep 101 is all you need to know

Fr33kodak

Watch 102 Fsfs ,, that’s a classic lol

Caradoc Elmet

I absolutely LOVE the zoom-in at 17:55 to compare your expressions with Nami and Vivi. The editing on your videos is top notch, I have to say. I've meant to say that before but I'm not very forward on commenting. I just woke up feeling a little brave today, so don't expect to hear from me often lol

WhoompWhoomp

Hey, just a heads up, saga names aren't spoilers. I only gave them some information that isn't in the anime itself and I want them to have the full experience. They liked Ace, who is a character in One Piece, so I left a warning for them to note where to open what I left them. They still know nothing about the future events.

Junk'Red

Hailey saying « we’re gonna fight together » 🥺 (OP 14)

WhoompWhoomp

The name of a saga typically gives little to no context about specific events, character developments, or plot twists. It often hints at a setting or theme rather than specific details and the name usually does not provide information about critical plot points. For example, knowing there's a "Marineford" saga doesn't tell you about the events that occur there. Therefore, it's not a spoiler, and if you want to keep arguing with me, it just proves your ego is too high to handle facts.

MrMegaman94

17:55 the zoom-in „kawaii“ 🤣

Scumdog of the WWE Universe

I can think of 2 future arcs where the name of the island/saga is actually a HUGE spoiler. Just accept your defeat and admit you are wrong.

Kitsune Inferno

Knowing that there's a saga with a certain name sets a lot of expectations, or makes you ask questions you wouldn't be asking otherwise, especially one with a name like that. Heck just saying there is an Alabasta arc before H&K reached episode 92 is a spoiler in my eyes. Just because characters say "we're going to x" doesn't mean we're actually going to x. Plot complications happen. If H&K saw that there was in fact an "Alabasta arc" in the comments, then that eliminates the possibility that it won't happen. There's no longer any mystery there. And since the majority of arcs are named after their settings and we're doing an adventure story with 100s of islands, many hinted long before we get there or never visited by the MCs at all, I can't think of a single arc name that isn't a spoiler. Another word of advice is make every extra detail you feel like sharing retroactive. As you said, there's no reason to read the novel until a certain point in the anime, so I'd hold off on bringing it up until that point, no matter how far off that might be. Bringing up future events at any point is a spoiler, regardless of how insignificant it might seem.

WhoompWhoomp

whoomp whoomp, cry about it lmao, it's not a spoiler even if you will bet it was, sorry but not sorry

weepyhoshi

why skip filler? :(

Tyler Price

And the Alabasta filler isn't terribly interesting. G8 would be a shame to skip, but I'm sure people are letting them know what's worth watching and what isn't.
