"Traitor"

WHOA that ramped up quick! This world is so cruel. 😭 We regret not giving a standing O for Magath and are so sad for Connie here... We have no idea what's next and we're just along for this incredible ride. Can't wait to continue! Until the next one!

The Jaegerists are correct. To end the cycle genocide must happen.

Xanakone SPT

This was one of the episodes that make breathing difficult

Isac christensen

Everything everywhere all at once part 2: The episode

Amy

Connie 😭 the voice actor did such an amazing job on that last scene

Reginald

SHOUT OUT TO CONNIE’s VOICE ACTOR FOR THE SECOND TIME

Pioka

Did you… skip the ending? Cause that was not the case

Auti O

Did you skip the ending? Did the cycle continue? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

JS

This show is why I stopped going to amusement parks. The rollercoaster of emotions this show makes you feel is more than enough. 😢🥲

Zakwan Khidzir

Pretty sure this is trolling. There is no way you can missed what Lady Kiyomi said. Also they made it very clear with the intermission message.

JS

I wouldn’t put a spoiler as a rebuttal. Not worth it. This poster is probably a troll.

Becca d

Ugh this one hurts

CainetheLongshot

Earlier in this season, Conny was upset with Onyankopon for being betrayed and it’s so terribly sad that it came full circle for Conny to become the traitor just like the Warriors were. The warriors believing that what they were doing was for the good of the world and like them Conny has to fight his friends he’s known for years, for this greater purpose. Rewatching the earlier seasons with Bert and him struggling having to fight his friends is just more painful knowing what he believed he was fighting for. My heart breaks for Conny, Bert, really all the AoT characters.

Reginald

Bert flying up before transforms in season 3: “This world is just that cruel”

PKS

11:29 Haylo's fist crack 😳

Reginald

To end the cycle of hatred Pure genocide must happen. Til the numbers of humans fall to one or fewer.

PKS

Reginald

GUYS THEY ARE GONNA WATCH episode 28 this week!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOO!!!!! sidenote ladies, id be very okay with you putting episode 29 and episode 30 in two different weeks. They are both movies!

Sean Carroll

Wrong that’s Samuel, daz is the guy in trost constantly crying and screaming in fear and he was saved by Ymir in the snowy mountain

Specky

damn, I need these next two episodes ASAP :'D

freshfruitbox

No that's Samuel, Daz is the guy Ymir saved on the snow mission with Historia.

PKS

oh yeah, Daz the one who was saved by Ymir in 2x5, lemme delete the comment.

Jeremy

So close to the end

Dog_Chasing_Cars

Not really, that's the absolutist statement based on it. it actually points out the flaws which lead to genocide. The fact that we constantly go down that route is attempting to point out how it happens. Sure you can accept the inevitability of it. But you'll also notice there is a time to reflect before it starts again. As a species, we suck at that bit. That's all it is. Its possible to end the cycle without genocide, but its easier to pretend that what you want matters more than everyone and everything else. We all do it, every day.

Eric Dean Draven

I love this episode. From Connie going full circle from the betrayed to the betrayer, to Annie's Titan terrifying return, to the amazing realization and speech from Magath. Very emotive. Also the fact that Samuel and Daz have been here for so long as supporting characters. And "supporting characters" is the right term as they were used to push the main characters forward or show how quick their wits are. Samuel is saved by a quick Sasha in S01e05 (i think) proving that, as training suggested, she has strong instinct. He is also used to the connection to Sasha's meat scene, on top of the wall, highlighting the union in their team. Daz is used as a "device" to convey the natural fear(maybe cowardice, but i think this term is too strong, it is not easy to have the courage), in Trost, and then again in the Ymir/Historia flashback he is used as the instigating motive for their conversation. They have been "supporting" our cast since the beginning but they are usually forgotten on a first view to the more inattentive. Not to Connie. Not to Armin. This is what war does. My heart is with Connie, he knows what it is like to be on both sides of that betrayal. Great reaction again. We are almost at the final stretch. Hope you enjoyed it, no matter how painful it might be. PS: That Connie scream is maybe the second more anguished scream in the entire series, for me. Can't talk about the most anguished one, IMO, to avoid clues or spoils. A hug to the both of you and also the people who journey with us and come here to comment ;)

Ajinkya Athlye

You're right, it's possible for people to come and understand one another, but as you said Magath doesn't speak for all of Marley. So even if Eren were to somehow hear Magath's confession, Eren's big problem with it is the lack of time. It takes time to come to understand each other, especially at a global scale, and that's something Eren doesn't have (4 years to go).

RawrSaur

Ooof.. I forgot that Connie scream. Made my eyes sting a bit :|

Jorge Hernandez

When you finish aot you should rewatch it. AOT have a very high rewatch value and a lot of foreshadow. Some people like me only want to pay more months of subscription for this <3 thanks for your reactions

YOUNES LOL LOULIZI

While Sacha’s father want the world to leave the forest for everything to be fine, Eren wants to burn the forest, and maybe the surroundings as well. Haaa😩

Nika

Rip Samuel and Daz ❤️

Arnaud Leroux

This episode is amazing the writting is so well done Isayama is a genius. The scene with Samuel and Diaz is a direct parallel of the scene where Reiner and Bertolt revealed themselves as the traitors even in the direction of the scene we can see the parallel. Armin and Connie represent Reiner and Bertolt and Samuel and Diaz represent Eren and Mikasa. That’s why Connie has to kill them in the end because he’s been in this place he knew that in this type of situation discussion isn’t possible like on the wall when Reiner and Bertolt revealed that they are the Armored and the Collosal even if they tried to explain Connie Armin Eren and all of the Scout wouldn’t have listen that why Connie knew that even if he tried to explain to Samuel and Diaz they couldn’t understand and listen because they felt betrayed. This show is so well written is mindblowing Another great reaction form you guys 🔥🔥

Pocketsleuth

I'm hoping they watch Haikyuu next after AoT these girls need their hope restored 😭 also I just know they'd love it 😂

Hans

this is one of the "manually breathing" episodes 😂

Jonas Abildgaard Poulsen

War is war, hell is hell, and out of the two, hell is the better place to be

Green Hog

Can’t go into combat half-heartedly, Connie! Annie did it with Armin and she paid the price, so you should know this

Zain kb

i felt nostalgic for s1 when i saw annie again 😭

Miguel Hernandez

Y’all should watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood next

baja

You knowbwhat will do that? Some good old fashion jjk

Ben Asay

I would love that! English dub is my favorite for the cast but I've never seen it in sub so that'd be interesting.

Miguel Hernandez

I think they would love it. It’s a nice chance of pace from AOT while still keeping alot of the same serious elements. The story is genuinely beautiful.

Reginald

LADIES! After this show can you host a live to talk about this show with your viewers please. I WOULD LOVE SOMETHING LIKE THAT… Those who agree please like this comment

Torje Kristensen Amundsen

If you're curious (since you didn't seem to remember them by name, which is okay, most don't!), I'll explain who the two guys Armin and Connie had to kill at the end of this episode here are: Samuel is the guy who Sasha saved when the Colossal Titan attacked in episode 4 of Season 1, when she shot her ODM gear into his leg to save him from falling. Daz is one of the guys who were freaking out during Pixis' first speech in episode 11, and he's also the guy Ymir saved on the snowy mountain with Historia in the flashback in Season 2.

Cyber

Im definitely down for a full length bingeable rewatch, multiple episodes at a time . They dont even have to do any editing or anything, let us figure it out, but just have them rewatch it again just to see how much foreshadowing there is, and even when they find out who Daz and Samuel were from season 1 training and wall attack and ymir/historia snow flashback for example.

Jake the Movie Geek

I’m so excited for you guys to see the next episode

Spencer Kee

Connie’s scream is NUTS. Idk what that VA had to go through to produce that

Natasha Wells

It’s the same VA as Zenitsu from Demon Slayer so he’s probably used to it lol

chris

yes the cycle continued, therefore the genocide was pointless, the peace it brought was only temporary. are you dense?

Regie Khemvisay

Honestly though, Connie didn’t have to shoot that guy 3 times…titans vs humans again, not a fair fight

skitalks

he's a great character but calling someone who takes gratification in killing innocent people is wicked work

dreg

Honestly, this season is exhausting to watch because of how conflicted it makes you feel. Not a bad thing and exactly what was intended IMO, but it's definitely draining!

yates

Their wrong was knowing they were going to die, I don't think they thought about that when they were alive

Jose

Yeah my thoughts exactly, I could never get hyped up in these episodes since they are just killing each other, these are people fighting for the survival of there island, it just leaves a bad taste seeing the alliance just betray the island they were born in.

Regie Khemvisay

I dont like how theyre comparing what Reiner and Annie did to what connie and them are doing now. Its not the same thing...

Regie Khemvisay

So is what Tybur family did with their own ppl. They were hailed as kings but their own ppl had to attack Eldia so they can be accepted by Marley. But we dont talk abt that

skitalks

Both are morally bad, what's hypocritical is for this guy (or perhaps even you) to praise one side and chastise the other side.

skitalks

That's the point... each side has a good argument for what they believe in.

skitalks

It is not the same thing but it's very similar. Connie is "betraying" his comrades to save the world, just like how Reiner and Annie "betrayed" the Scouts to save the world. It fits thematically perfectly well

Gin-liberio

How are they this close to the end of the show? Time flies quickly, this show deserves its own deep dive analysis video and to be dissected thoroughly. Im curious how their discussions are going to evolve from here on out, especially the last 3 episodes.

Yemi Truechild

Connie best scream. Ugliest tears, me.

Reginald

I hate demon slayer and i hate zenitsu especially ….i will however express i have only see season 1. But have seen the whole season

Niler Wuthichaikul

Please watch Jujutsu Kaisen next, pleaseeee

TommyPringle

I used to despise Bert for what he did, but this episode made me turn 180 on how I see him and felt so bad for being in a situation where you have to betray your friends to save the world. Second time watching, but it still made me cry to see Connie scream "you are my friends" and shoot them Also, you guys should listen to ending theme with subtitles on! It's actually quite relevant to the story, and is cry-able after watching all these episodes.

Natasha Wells

I totally understand hating Zenitsu lol. I love him tho and he has some great development, especially towards the end of the manga. I’m looking forward to seeing it all get animated.

Joshua Adams

Last episode one of you said "I feel like Connie is going to get his chance to shine" ......yeah....kinda 🙁

Rainy Days

I keep saying if they decided to immediately jump into a rewatch that I would watch the entire rewatch with them haha. And this time they can watch the intro and hear the theme music!

Rainy Days

All those who end up in hell deserve to be... but countless innocents die in war. War is worse than hell.

Gin-liberio

Combining my Solo watch a long time ago, with reaction watches from different reactors I would say this show is like my prized possession in a sense. I must’ve watched the show 10 times give or take. Including different retrospective analysis videos on it, to understand other perspectives on this show.

Rae

I love how Kiyomi's words echo Erwin and Pyxis. Erwin said in Season 3 that "Humans will continue to fight one another until the day there's one human or less" and Pyxis said way back in Season 1 that "If humankind perishes, it won't be because Titans devoured us. We will perish because we annihilated one another".

RadicalMehdi

Daz shot Armin specifically because he knew he was a titan to try to stop them but that hesitation got him and his friend killed ... that's sad really.
