Titan users controlling healing is something we've actually seen before. Remember in 2x6, Reiner didn't heal the bite marks from the castle until he took his arm sling off. So it's certainly possible. As for next episode, all I can say is buckle up......

There might have been more occasions, but the controlled healing instances that stand out the most to me are when Reiner chooses to heal the bite wound a little later, only moments before he turns before the scouts. Annie does this was well, choosing to focus on healing one eye rather than both sped up her healing and turned the tides of herself versus Levi's squad. Great react as always. You guys had amazing intuition with Eren and so many other things. Now, please prepare yourselves. We truly are at the beginning of the end.

I'm pretty sure if you're an experienced titan shifter you can control your healing. Like when reiner revealed himself his arm quickly healed like he commanded it.

Sad true. I was at season 2 and was searching for episode 6 soundtrack and yt algorythm decided to spoil the show. On some miniature was a picture of Reiner, Bert and Annie standing in front of modern buildings. So the basement wasn't so shocking for me. Girls are lucky to watch everything at once without a few years gap. It very helps to put everything together much easier and see all connections.

Well, there is a difference between ,,can't wait for you to see rest of the season " and ,,episode 3, 4 is wild". AoT isn't that hard to predict, when you know to pay attention, watching it at once and you are a writer/creator yourself.
