Well, you've done it. You've out-questioned me. Due to the sheer number of questions you've posted, I am unable to answer everything because I'd be here for days. So I had to pick my favorite ones out of 53 for this go-around but don't worry, there will be plenty of future Q&A posts where you can resubmit your questions if I wasn't able to get around to them. Now let's get comfy on the couch bed with some extra strong coffee and indulge in the fantastic scent of my better homes and gardens vanilla cookie scented candle. It's the first candle I liked enough to buy and I can't wait to be able to reuse the jar. I wish they made lemon pumpkin shortbread candles, but these only come as wax melts. Which is dumb because it's literally the best scent ever. I will neither confirm nor deny being that weird bitch at Walmart sniffing every single candle.

Did you create your Youtube channel and Patreon page simultaneously? No, I didn't even know Patreon was a thing for the first two or three years of having my channel. And I sure as hell didn't think people would actually want to give me money for my videos. But I cannot begin to tell you how thankful I am that you're supporting me. It's been a huge blessing in trying times (not just cause of the pandemic) and I wouldn't be where I want to be in life without your kindness and generosity.

Do you have any travel plans for places to visit in the US? So far we don't have plans as we are just settling in our new home and slowly branching out and visiting locations around town. But there are places on my bucket list, including a few haunted locations that I'd love to see. If you have any suggestions for cool things to see in Missouri, we'd be happy to check it out.

Do you have any special ideas for how to bring in the local nature and surroundings into a video idea? Also welcome to the US!!! Thank you! So far I haven't been inspired to make a video based on local nature but I've been picking up some natural materials to decorate with so some of those will surely make it into the background of a video at some point. I'm currently waiting on the big boy package of stuff from Germany which has many more things to work with aswell as some backdrop cloths so I'm excited to see what I'll be able to make out of everything I have. We've been sweeping some local thrift stores aswell with minor success at best - those places are usually full of junk and smell like old people or hella crowded with decent stuff selling like hot cakes. Thrift store shopping is 99% luck. Even though I'm looking for niche stuff, it's not easy to find something worth buying even for little money. Really brings it home how finicky even simple roleplays are!

Are your new neighbors quieter than your old neighbors back in Germany? If by quieter you mean not screaming bloody murder 24/7 then yes, they sure are. They are so quiet, in fact, that I can sleep without ear plugs for the first time in years. (Back in Germany I could still hear everything with ear plugs.) It's been such a blessing to be living in a relatively quiet, child-free neighborhood. The loudest thing I've heard since I came here was our own damn appliances. The only noise I hear coming from the neighbors is the hippies next door running up and down the stairs or coughing up a lung in the middle of the night.

This is Ash chilling with me at work right now.

What’s your favorite indulgence? Witchy crafty things. I love making my own incense blends, ritual baths, perfume and anointing oils, cleansing sprays, mojo bags, crystal grids and everything. Probably the most expensive hobby I have, though I do my best to budget and use foraged materials.

Do you often get recognized by fans while being out in public? I fucking hope not.

What is your favorite thing about finally living in the US, apart from being with Jack? Freedom. Compared to the freedom here, living in Germany was just tragically suffocating. People are for the most part very laid back and friendly. Covid numbers are blissfully low and continue to drop so there's no need for super rigid restrictions. One can still enjoy life here. I'm loving not being confined in a poorly insulated box with rogue children vandalizing the landlord's property above my head.

I used to write short stories for fun.  I’ve been thinking about your tragic little Shiki/vampire.  Do you like fan fiction for the characters you create? I've never read fan fiction for any of the characters I've created, but I am curious!

Do you think obviously after Covid restrictions lift more, you'd consider a community meet up/meet your fans type of thing? Maybe. It's really my social anxiety that would have to lift but with how friendly and wonderful people are here I think living here might be therapeutic for the bullied child in me. It could happen but probably not soon.

I’m curious Ally could you name a few books you’ve read? Oof. I could if I didn't forget most book titles almost instantly. I can tell you the ones I'm currently reading: Magic for the resistance, The anatomy of loneliness and some crystal encyclopedia.

What's your favorite sound? The rustling of dried hydrangea flowers. Sounds oddly specific but if you hear it, you'll know. It's a delicate, cascading kind of rustling. Gentle enough to not be abrasive sounding, sending subtle chills down your neck and upper back.

If you were a ghost who would you like to haunt? Someone who could see me. I can see myself befriending random mediums, maybe do some supernatural shit to help them out in exchange for companionship. Like smack bullies over the head or retrieve lost objects.

Do you have a fictional character you identify yourself with? No, I've never related to a fictional character enough to identify with them. Sometimes I have a problem with developing crushes on the scapegoats because I relate so hard.

You mentioned in the livestream you believe in curses which brings me to my questions. How much experience do you have you with curses? And secondly what kind of curses do you usually practice? I'm usually on the other end of this. I practice warding from and breaking curses and hexes. I have a little experience with curses, mostly generational and evil eye type shit. I also practice blocking and returning all ill intent sent towards me (subtle curses) which was way more important back in Germany than it is here. The reason being that in Germany the energy is hostile and tense. In the US (Missouri) it is chaotic but everyone is just doing their best - chaotic neutral type stuff. In Germany it is very hateful but brushed over with surface level politeness. This hostile energy made me more vulnerable to all kinds of negative energy due to being baseline stressed, whereas here I can breathe and be baseline relaxed. It's nice to have all my energy available to me to put into whatever I choose.

How long does it usually take to finish recording 2 to 3 hour long massage and spa roleplay videos? Weeks to months. With my current production quality, it's closer to months than weeks, though. That is assuming I do it all myself. I don't know how long it would take for other creators who pawn half the work off to editors and/or have people to help them come up with ideas, scripts and scene setting.

Do you have any experience with dream interpretation? A little. This used to be a thing that would really get my brain cells into hyperdrive back in my teens, but at this point I mostly just consult dreammoods.com. That is for my dreams personally because they are so weird and abstract I literally just need somewhere to start. Jack has hyperrealistic dreams which is crazy to me. Logical and cohesive dreams? How can such a thing exist? I thought dreams were like "dafuq was that" and "light fell down" for everyone.

What kind of coffee machine do you use? I used to use an off-brand moka pot to brew fresh espresso in the morning, but since I've moved I've been settling for our basic bitch Black&Decker drip coffee maker. Eventually I'd like to get a professional espresso machine to make cappuccinos. That's like my dream lol

What was your favorite subject in high school? Does band count? I really enjoyed band practice. Other than that, probably English because it was too damn easy and I got to use my favorite language. And look where that got me!

I hope you enjoyed this month's Q&A and as per usual, I will have the April Q&A post available here once April rolls around.

This is Ash by now, very cozy and awfully helpful. For those of you on the Mega tier, I have so much cute cat footage to share.

Stay safe, snuggle a cat.
