thank you all for the warm welcome! I thought I came here for my husband but apparently I came here to get fat aswell because almost everything here tastes amazing. catch up with how I'm settling in the new house and watch our cat do stuff. going back to work as normal after all my props and stuff arrive. right now everything is bare and even the most talented artists will have a hard time making beige walls relaxing. but I'm looking forward to starting fresh with new beautiful videos this spring.

Yeah... processed foods and fast food, tons of sugar and corn syrup... it's a problem here. Eating legitimately healthy's both more work *and* more expensive, if you let yourself get accustomed to the fast food over here. And, oh gods, he's SO right about proper southern food. And, Cracker Barrel's pretty good for a step into that realm, though it's not a deep dive. They get fried apples right, at the very least. And a good few other breakfasty things. I do have to recommend some proper sausage gravy with drop biscuits, bacon, a couple pancakes, couple fried eggs, and some fried apples, though... and now I'm hungry... Edit: Cracker barrel doesn't do drop biscuits, but their biscuits at least have a good balance of crusty edge and warm fluffy interior. Proper drop biscuits are a whole other ball game, though. Especially when you start doing things like soakies (break up a buttery, crusty, biscuit into a bowl, add coffee.).

Oh no! I've only been to cracker barrel in places where they'd be appropriately lynched for that mistake. May have to track down a proper biscuit recipe...
