Of the Moon and Waters (Patreon)

Coming soon is a stunningly relaxing video full of magic and warmth. This idea came to me unexpectedly but it needed a little time to be refined. For a while I only had the theme "sea salt bath" to go by and so I was kind of in between two ideas as if straddling two horses. Do I want to do a witchy aura cleanse or maybe a sea salt spa video? I had no idea what I wanted to do. But I knew it would involve white flowers. Prior to getting this idea I had bought white carnations to decorate my apartment and altars. I decided to rip some apart and throw them in a "bath" (in quotes because I only have a shower. ikr? fml.) This is where I filmed my first attempt at petals floating in water stock footage.

I did search online for some stock footage of a bath tub or something similar to go with the video, but there was nothing (literally nothing) that was free and I didn't have $150 to buy a mediocre 14-second clip - so I said "fuck it, I'll figure something out." At this point I still got one foot on each horse, but at least I've started something. 

After another day of trying and failing to record additional clips (idk why my - usual "aesthetic" wasn't working for me), I decided the next day upon waking up that I hated the footage I filmed and wanted to do it differently. Maybe with larger petals. In this hazy state between wake and sleep I seem to be more in tune with my intuition as I've been waking up just knowing what to do lately. So it was sea salt bath with flowers - take 2 - and while out on errands I decided to get more flowers. The flower shop didn't have white carnations nor (pure white) roses so I picked out a variety - and somewhere along the way I got fixated on having a flower crown. Still no idea what I wanted to do. I just got home, sat down, made more coffee and started improvising on the flower crown. For my first attempt it turned out pretty cute! It took forever so by the time I finished it was after midnight and I quickly threw together a bootleg set of my black shelf with white accents. For a while I was lamenting the fact that I do not own a single white piece of clothing as the idea I had in mind was all white and I didn't want to be sticking out like a sore thumb in my own video. That's what mainstream society is for! (I also couldn't find a single white top in the entirety of the mall that would have worked with the aesthetic.) But I thought, I'll just roll with it. I have a flower crown. What could go wrong?! ... Then it occured to me. With my witchy ass hippie ass flower crown I decided to use the title that had been in my head for a while - "Of the Moon and Waters" 

This title changed everything because it changed the way I was looking at my project (in my mind.) 

I was able to break away from my "either-or" habit of making videos, so to speak, getting off both horses. While still retaining the essence of the intention I held for the video - to completely cleanse and relax you. That's my goal. I am designing this video to cleanse your aura in multiple ways and at the same time immerse you in so many beautiful relaxation triggers to the effect of a full-on spiritual bath. Sometimes we're just too tired to pay attention to our own spiritual hygiene. For that I am creating this video. Immerse yourself in beauty, purity and healing light. 

This project has taken a much more fantastical turn than I first envisioned and I declare that it's all Pisces's fault. Yes, your fault, Pisces. The sun is all about you at the minute and your watery ass confusing ass ruler Neptune is chilling out in my first house of identity, fucking spinning backwards, too, sandwiched in between Uranus and Saturn and confusing the fuck out of both of them and now it's taking over everything I do and making it magical and otherworldly. I mean, I may aswell have called the video "Neptune made me do it." I hope you're happy now. Enjoy the mesmerizing trip into space when it comes out. =P
