Type O Negative ASMR - Sneak Peek (Patreon)

This one's coming out for realsssss. I've been working on this since Sunday and I quite like everything so far. The upcoming video is inspired by my current album obsession.
What can I tell you about it that you might think is interesting? I picked out 5 songs to sing from this album, omitting the Halloweenish ones as they didn't fit the established vibe but I might put them in a separate video with a more spooky vibe.
This vibe is more of a really cool, new take on old school, alternative, non-pop pop vibe. At least the filter on my camera is called "Pop color" and I think it really flatters me. I tried to match my background to my hair color to get a theme going and with the candle light I managed to get an orange-green contrasty thing going that reminds me of however little I remember from the convoluted 90's era, or, since I really have no idea what I'm talking about, how I think the 90's should have been. Forgive me as I'm ridiculously unversed in pop culture.
Behold! The tower of Fanta! This video is not sponsored by Fanta, I just needed a shallow pop culture reference that matches my hair. Why? Because I thought it would be fun to to crack open a can of soda and lead with White Slavery. Am I the only one who thinks that's hilarious?
While establishing this project, however, what stuck out to me about the album that the songs were all interlaced with those random hospital noise interludes, making it seem like there's more music than there is. Especially if you only take the singing parts as your only option for a capella covers, it reduces the time even more. Watch time is only secondary to me as my priority remains in the video quality or however much of that I can salvage from my ADHD ridden attempts at remembering lyrics I technically know by heart (just not when it would be really helpful to remember them). But then I thought it would be fun to structure my video kinda like the album itself, aka totally stealing that idea. Which brought me to where I am now which is not just a random ass fizzy pop intro to 25 minutes of singing, but I am working on implanting tingly ASMR triggers between each of the songs. I already filmed two and tonight I'm going to film two more and for the last tingly trigger interlude I am going to require props I just ordered. So while I'm waiting for those to come in I can start working on something else. To be honest, just the fizzy pop alone would feel very out of place for a singing video. But I'm using triggers that are actually appropriate for the songs, relate to the lyrics and stuff to make kind of a... piece of tingly...art...ish? It'll basically be like a soft singing ASMR cover album.
I also tried to keep the vibe and the triggers summer themed, as I was going to mention two paragraphs above, but my thoughts decided to take the scenic route. Summer idealistic dreamer 90's nostalgia vibe. I just hope to complete this project before I inevitably decide I suck at singing and shouldn't ever do that again - but as long as I'm passable and there are people who enjoy my singing voice even though my pitch ain't perfect, I'll happily at least attempt it. Music is my deepest passion and I can only dream to pursue it some time.
That aside, I really like making music videos, too. But if I were to make a legit music video out of something like this it would take a really long time... like, really, really long. So long that you all would probably forget I exist and move on with your lives. Maybe, if I get inspired, I'll think about playing around with that as a side gig #whatisfreetime
What do you think? Are you excited for this idea? I'm pretty happy I finally came up with ASMR triggers for all the songs anyway. Some were pretty obvious but others... uhh... Let's just say I had to figure out what they're about to find a connection to build an ASMR interlude on. I just love everything about these songs, singing them relaxes me honestly. I hope you will find them as enjoyable
