May I introduce the new and improved video quality... Well, almost. I'm still working on the configuration. But here's some of what you can expect for the future of [Esc] reality.

This video is just an example (as in I won't edit and publish it b/c not good enough). I wanted my first video shot with the new camera to be for Jack - I call it a good luck custom. This doesn't mean I will do tons of romantic videos. It just means I will do, like, one romantic video. 

While shooting this I learned the following things:

1) I will never do eyeliner again. Takes way too long and looks like shit every time. 

2) I need to dye my hair. The half-assed faded red is not flattering at all.

3) Everything takes so fucking long... There is no conceivable way to finish a whole video in this format in just a couple days. I went through 3 batteries trying to record about 30 minutes of footage just because reconfiguring everything for every separate scene took so damn long. That's why I will start with slightly shorter videos (I aim for 30-40 minutes) until I figured out how everything works and focus on quality and detail rather than length. That doesn't mean I won't still do epically long videos. It'll just take me a lot longer to do them. 

4) While it's frustrating because it takes so long, there's this undeniable aspect of fun in creating something close to what I want. I couldn't do that before. I love this new camera and I'm sure I will love it a lot more when I know wtf I'm doing with it. I didn't know I was passionate about this until this camera enabled me to at least try to realize my vision of what I want to create in this world.
