'tis the year 2024. times have remained unprecedented for longer than anyone would like. unfortunately, the ones most affected by this crumbling economy are the ones who least deserve to suffer. that's why, despite skyrocketing inflation and economical hardship, we made a point of passing on your contributions to those most in need: the hungry mouths at our local humane society. our commitment is still the same as 8 years ago. for every $6 subscription - one bag of cat treats, for every $13 subscription - 2lbs kibble, for every $20+ subscription - one 12-pack wet food. this year we were able to donate 18 packs of cat treats, 30lbs of dry food and 8x12 cans of wet dinners for cats in your names. we want to thank you so much for allowing us to help out the people who keep vulnerable animals off the streets. in total, we've spent $172 at petsmart today - a humble contribution that'll go a long way! what's in my hands? those are homemade dog cookies for all the adorable shelter dogs! in case you didn't know, I have a baking business as a side gig and I make human treats aswell as dog treats! if you happen to want any, you can find me on instagram @alleycatconfections and see what I got. today the lovely people at the humane society were busy so no taste testing was conducted for the new flavors, but given that I use exclusively wholesome, human grade ingredients from my own kitchen, they usually go over super well! just ask if you have any questions.
