⛤ June Q&A (Patreon)

Finally some long awaited rain.
I made a rain shelter on the patio for my homegirl and will be checking on the tadpoles in the park at some point. the puddle is turning into a little wildlife pond and I'm glad it finally rained because I've been going out there in 97 degrees with gallons of water on my back to buy them some time. with the sun burning down like that, it evaporates about 4-5 gallons each day. many babies have perished from heat stroke but many are left and thriving in the most unlikely of places! isn't life amazing? I hope I get to see them grow into frogs before the city inevitably has to fill the (rather large) pot hole on the side of the gravel path. for now it's time for the usual mixture of chores and work and your questions before I forget.
I'm not at all familiar with the occult, but your last Q&A had me wondering. Are there people who intentionally go around trying to form connections with powerful hostile entities? Is there such a thing as someone who can form that connection and take the lead instead of being led/manipulated? there are certainly people deliberately trying to summon demons and there are people who have the resolve to control demons. those are not the same people. in a venn diagram, these circles do not touch. because the people who know enough about demons to know what they are doing, know how unwise and counterproductive such an endeavor would be. usually the ones summoning the demons are kids (inexperienced practitioners) who think they are all that and are cursed with a remarkable sense of invincibility or simply do not understand what they are doing.
Are you into stars? If so what kind star do you like? Or if not do you know things like the Big Dipper or something like that? I like stars. stargazing used to be one of my favorite hobbies back when I lived in a relatively safe neighborhood. I think I would be more into stars if I had had opportunities to observe them growing up. I do not know much about them and could at best point out a constellation or two, though one of my favorite video topics to fall asleep to is astronomy and astrophysics. my friend's dad took us out to go stargazing one time and I remember being more impressed by the fact that her parents showed interest in both their three children and their own individual hobbies than the actual experience of looking into a telescope, as delightful as that was. it was also cold and each of us took turns observing the distant celestial objects in the night sky. I've been wanting to go to a planetarium at least once in my life. maybe someday.
What is your favorite soda/tea/coffee flavor? I don't like soda. something about the sickly sweet and painfully fizzy combo doesn't sit right with me. for tea I really like peach flavor. it's just so pleasant. I'm sad it's not a default flavor here like it was in Germany. in America you have sweet or unsweet tea. in Germany you have peach or lemon tea. those are harder to find here. for coffee, I don't like sweet coffee so I rarely choose a flavored option, but my favorite coffee blend is the sleepy hollow blend that Aldi releases around Halloween every now and again. I didn't see it the past two years but I remember buying it the year before that. it's by far the most refreshing cup I've had in this country. just the right amount of citrusy and a well balanced medium roast. I wish they sold it year round.
Do you have any book recommendations? Ozark Tales! haha. I wish I had the time to read but between 2+ jobs and running a household by myself I'm lucky if I have time to get to everything on my to-do list. the only time I get to read is if I'm doing it for work.
Dating advice for Cancer/Pisces/Virgo/Capricorn. I'm a Scorpio. to date Cancer, you have to make their mom like you. you only have a chance if their mom approves of you. if you can charm her, you can charm the Cancer. take them out to eat. the way to their heart is literally through their stomach. to date a Pisces, you have to have a dominant personality. Pisces are naturally mutable and nebulous. to capture them, you have to have your own gravitational force and they will start revolving around you. be your own person, be compassionate, open minded and interesting. smoke weed with them. they will take any excuse to escape reality. to date Virgo, be perfectly flawed. a Virgo will lose interest if he/she doesn't have anything to nitpick or spend the rest of their life fixing. you are allowed exactly one vice they can fixate on that drives them a little crazy, everything else about you has to be perfect. they are always right, you are always wrong. if you can remember that, you can be with a Virgo. to date Capricorn, you have to be emotionally mature and be able to stand on your own. Capricorns hate nothing more than needy and clingy people. if they sense that you are using them as an emotional crutch, they are out. they have some of the highest standards when it comes to dating and the lowest tolerance for bullshit, but also the highest tolerance for humanity (what makes you human, weaknesses, flaws). they don't play games and they expect respect and loyalty. be a decent person with your own thing going on and you have a real chance.
Mental health update, is everything going alright so far? mentally, things are going great. I am feeling the best I've ever felt with little to nothing holding me back. the past spring was really, really challenging with so much death and loss and worrying about finances and it was getting to me, but I feel much more stable now. maybe not financially, but mentally I am stellar. I am facing some of my deepest traumas and learning to manage my life around it. I've become so open to life and and sociable and happy, I honestly didn't think it was possible for me to feel this way. I think the biggest change for me was taking things as they come instead of worrying about everything all the time, aswell as taking the good with the bad. it's basically a new way of living I've discovered for myself. I know I wouldn't have gotten this far if I hadn't gone to a loving home, but now I know how people who are loved feel on a daily basis and it still blows my mind.
What fantasy animal do you wish existed in real life? this question threw me for a loop for a second. first off, I had to google fantasy animals to get an idea of what you're asking and it spit out a list of mythological creatures and I realized about half of them I literally believe exist in some capacity and the ones that don't I don't have any strong feelings about. the one thing I do wish existed was familiars! witches familiars are a made up concept but I think it would be nice to have an animal companion that's actually assisting my craft and not just being an adorable distraction.
Have you considered starting a Tiktok? I don't have a desire to start a tiktok as short form content has never been interesting to me and if I do it will be purely a business decision.
Not sure if I've asked you this one before, but where do you see Asmr and the whole community heading to in the next 10 years? Do you like what Asmr has become or is it going down the shitter? I have not watched ASMR in many years because I don't like the content creators are coming out with. they are repetitive and do nothing for me (e.g. everyone is doing some rendition of "[insert any fictional character here] takes care of you/does your makeup/helps you sleep", cranial nerve exam, ear cleaning, scalp massage) and in general the scene is nothing like what it used to be when I started out. I miss the well thought out role plays where you could hear the care in the creator's voice. I think so many people doing ASMR to earn an income has led to pandering and the slow death of quality content, minus a handful of creators who still come up with good concepts. the mediocrity has taken over and I don't see it getting better anytime soon. it seems like there is nothing left of what once drew me to ASMR and my refusal to create anything mediocre has left me on the wayside of the movement. I'll be here creating my own subgenre of relaxing videos I guess.
At what point in your life and age did you decide to become a witch? (is this even what you want to be called?) It wasn't so much a decision but more of a discovery. I've been drawn to the occult for as long as I can remember and when I was a young teen it was like I knew I had certain powers that I was literally itching to utilize. at that point I didn't know how and there was no one around to teach me. but soon I found books and google and a lot of things started to make a lot of sense. witchcraft has always been as much a part of me as my lungs or my legs.
If you were in a cartoon show, which one would you like to be in? Here are some examples: The Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy, a different cartoon show. I would like to be in Sailor Moon so I could fight for love and justice. I want to punish the bad guys and contribute to something important. Also wouldn't mind being a hero now and again.
Just out of curiosity: how are the feet pics doing? Are you making some extra income or have you abandoned this idea? well, to my genuine shock and surprise, no one wants to buy feet pics. everyone just wants to sext. I haven't sold anything yet, though I haven't had much time to create foot content either. and here I thought I was avoiding having to do sex work to make a living by doing foot stuff!!! it's never that easy, I guess.
thank you for submitting your questions! another question dump will be available in July and I'm gonna turn the AC on now because the rain has stopped and now it's just hot and wet. stay cool out there, cool cats! drink some water and wear your sunscreen.
