One day, or rather one night, it had all come to a head. Big Frank and Porky had had a head-to-head clash at the local bar. Big Frank had had a few too many beers. He said some very rude things to Porky. He resented the power the fat guy had over other men. He called Porky a "little fat nothing". Porky had just smiled. He just said that he appreciated the oblique 1960s comics reference, and that when Frank wanted to understand what his "power" was, he just had to turn up at his place. Franks was shaken. The little guy seemed so sure of himself. The way he had spoken, it sounded very much like a challenge. Would Frank take it up?

Porky’s gotta have some power to be able to have a guy walk into a bar collared and barefoot

Definitely. But it's like hypnosis - you cannot make a hypnotised person do a thing they wouldn't do.

Porky appears to me as the experienced guy who does not rush and when he gets someone wanting to come home with him, they find it surprising what he is able to do. The collared and barefoot companion has a sense of safety when Porky holds the leach. To me Porky looks like a kind of person who would give a good talk, and ending up that following him to his place would be fine. Then Porky has convinced you that you are going to let him do his things and you end up securely restrained. Your mouth has something inside that you cannot spit out. Then there is very little you can do or say...

I don't see things exactly like that. I think Porky is genuine. If, at any moment, you want out, you can opt out. So you know you can trust him to hand over power to him. His "special talent", in my mind, is in making the man who has handed over power not want to take it back.
