John couldn't believe it. Thirty years he'd been a security guard on the night watch in the bank and nothing out of the extraordinary had ever happened. And now, one week from retirement, he found himself bound and gagged in a closet by that young punk. And the boy had taken his uniform! And complained that it was "a little too loose for him, especially in the waist", which was adding insult to injury. John was mortified. Not only did he have to strip at gunpoint in front of the youngster, but now he was left trussed up like a chicken while the boy was leaving him with a wave of his own cap! 

Better not to try and get free - as if he could! - and wait quietly for the young thief to get away with the loot and for the police to come and get him out. John wasn't looking forward to that!
