I'm glad someone remembers Rosario Vampire. It wasn't good but it was there, damn it

Got to go with the girl from the manga that got me into manga. If it weren't for that shitty late 2000's watered down harem adaptation (which removed all the gore and the psychological and existential horror and the shonen elements and the murder and the emotional abuse from the witch hill arc and the half monsters and made a second season before the second part of the story was even 1/10 complete and removed the seinen elements because it had to be TV-PG rather than TV-PG14 like it should've, SERIOUSLY WHEN IS THIS SERIES GOING TO GET THE HELLSING ULTIMATE TREATMENT I WANT TO SEE MY ANIME WAIFU'S IMPAILED BY SHARP NAILS), then Rosario+Vampire would be more well-known and respected then it is today.

What upsets me the most about the anime adaptation is how cheap and how quickly it was made. It was made on the cheap by studio Gonzo while it was suffering from financial difficulties and the two seasons were aired in the same year (Season 1: January-March 2008. Season 2: October-December 2008). They rushed everything, cut out several arcs and characters (and a lot of the ones they kept they removed or altered their motivations, especially the villains), and tried to make it a harem comedy series in the vein of Love Hina and Maburaho when the closest they've come to anything harem related was a harem drama, and even then, that took a back seat to the mystery, the seinen fights and the monster and psychological horror of Tsukune slowly turning into a ghoul. Compound that with a second season being made years before the second part even finished (the first chapter of Part II came out in November of 2007 and wouldn't finish until April of 2014) and you have one of the most bastardized manga adaptations this side of the Tokyo Ghoul /A

Really wish more people chose madame rouge. A forgotten character whos hot as hell

Connor Rivers

I never saw her appeal and she was just in a few episodes in season five as a side character to the main villain. She got lost in a sea of more interesting bad guys and more fleshed out waifu's

Haruka Junko

For me the appeal is that she is latex and can wrap around people bondage style or try to absorb and smother others. That and the french accent is nice.
