Weekly Rant : Crunch time, new girls, and a short vacation - June 10th, 2023 (Patreon)

TLDR - I've been working extreme hours, these girls are the result of that. I'm going to take a 2-3 week vacation to recharge, but I don't have an update to fill that gap like normal, cause I was working on these girls.

Long version - So, as some of you might have noticed, we shut down the VIP tier a few months. I wanted to move past the need for VIPs to help float the project and get the ones that were waiting to get worked on finished up. Four of the girls are VIP girls (Spider/Mino/Centaur/Bat) and two are team girls (sheep/shark).  I still have two more to do. One is already mostly concepted and the other is something of a VIP/Team girl since we had all landed on the exact same idea. Those two should go rather smoothly. 

To the point, though. The group above was in various states, so I decided to spend basically every last free minute I had to get them all pushed out the door. I just spent about the last two months on crunch time. Anywhere from 12 to 16 hours per day for the vast majority of that time, with only a day every other week or so as a day off.

Thankfully, the final bits of work to finish the group up is less than a weeks worth of work. I'll mess around with that stuff and finish it while I'm on break. That will polish off all six girls' base requirements. After that, it's just doing the events for them like normal.

But as you can imagine, I didn't really have spare time to prep a gap filler update like I normally do when I take a week or two off. I figured in lieu of that, I would show you guys what I've been working on that's taken up that time.

I'll still be available during my break as normal. I also will still be working, but it won't be at a regular pace. I'm not one to just sit around, so a few hours a day on stuff I feel like messing with, instead of what is needed for the update, is actually quite refreshing for me. 

Anyways, my break starts today and lasts 2-3 weeks. Do feel free to get ahold of me if you need to for any reason, response may be a bit slow but should be within the day.

Voting - The next girl to be released is set in stone. It will be sheep in 3ish updates time. The shark may or may not come after that, still undecided. Anyways, for the rest of the girls, I was thinking about putting them up for a vote for patrons to decide what comes out after that. It would obviously be a while before that vote, but not as long as you might think. I would also have to run it a few updates beforehand so I could get sketches and writing out the door.

Side note - I didn't include the cactus since she started as a daily warmup, then got finished out during our weekly live streams. I spent maybe a few hours outside of that on her, so she hasn't really been a time-sink for me.
